Sam Smith pretty much disappeared after the early days of the Covid shutdown when he whined about it on social media and everyone mocked him for being a privileged baby.
He has a lot of talent, but he's one of those people who should never go on social media or speak to the press.

And Sam didn't dissapeared. It's true he was not as huge as his first album, but he had two top 10 hits in the USA since then.
The problem is he insist in releasing dance songs (which is ok) when people liked him for being a balladist
Anyway, his last single with Kim Petras was released a week ago and still is at number one on itunes USA and number 3 in the UK

LOVE this song ever since it came out. It’s my go-to gym energy song. Calvin Harris deserves most of the credit (side note, he is totally hot) for the remix but the lyrics are good and Sams voice sounds good. I dont like Sam Smith and consider him a spoiled indulged child of wealthy parents who hopped on the non-binary train to get some more attention - but I do love this song.

Video is a muddled mess. Voguing and drag balls’ batteries are empty. Give them a minute to recharge. The random hot white woman is for Calvin I imagine, but doesn’t work with the rest of the concept at all. She wouldn’t be at that party. Sam Smith is tough to look at.

Sam Smith was a once in a generation talent and truly could’ve been even bigger.
Instead, he got sucked in with the queers, got fucking weird, and the rest of the world moved on.
He’s got fame and millions upon millions so he seems to be content to just do…this for the rest of his career.
