These movies are good campy fun. Lance Fenton of Heathers fame was sexy in the first one and Ladd York was a prime grade stud in the sequel. Angela (Rue McClanahan's niece Mimi Kinkade) has a great dance scene in both films.
I saw the first one not that long ago, on recommendations from DL. Gotta love Linnea Quigley!

The first two were pretty entertaining, but thankfully you left off part 3. It's a total shitfest and probably killed the series from continuing.
William (Billy) Gallo was the hot one to me from the first one. Fenton wasn't bad either, though.
Don't remember any of the guys from part two really standing out being particularly hot to me. It's one horror movie where the comedy aspects work and manages to stand out on its own.

I fucking HATE Night of the Demons.
And I love horror films.
I just ask that after five minutes I don't want to kill al the characters myself.

You hated Roger, though? What did Roger do?

Throw stones if you must, but I always thought the 2nd one was the best. The first one has a lot of great scenes and images, but the pacing lags for me a lot. The 3rd is best left forgotten, though I'm sure some Blu-ray company will give it a special edition one of these days and people will come out of the woodwork saying how much they love it and how it's the classic of the franchise.
The remake wasn't too bad.

Love both of these!

Another fun trashy one with Linnea is Sorority Babes in the Slimebowl O Rama which I believe is on Tubi. Nightmare Sisters is also a hoot, but I'm not sure if it's on any of the platforms.
"This is a movie about hot guys who dress like nerds. That is my favorite trope in media. There was a boy on NBC's Passions who was a 6'3" twin and a runway model with 4% body fat, but they'd wet his hair and make him wear glasses and we were supposed to believe he was a mega-nerd. Nothing in the world is hotter. This is a whole movie of that. It's a queer director making a film in the exploitation medium, so it's a rorschach experience - the audience dictates what they want it to be. For the average straight guy, it's got tons of boobies and gratuitous sex, so it was prominently featured in the late night cable roster, but it's very much shot from the queer lens. The camera lingers on the male form at every opportunity and, when coupled with its overall heightened tone, that makes this film a gay horror classic."

Those early DeCoteau movies are really fun. Anything with Linnea Quigley will at least have some fun moments.

R7, I saw that one a few months ago after hearing the hosts of Werewolf Ambulance laugh themselves silly over it. I enjoyed so much more than I was expecting, the kind of trashy movie that is also really fun to watch. Linnea was fun in that one: "Ooh, jump back! Prom queen's on the loose!"
And yeah, the nerdy characters in that who were clearly hot as fuck guys wearing glasses. Oh and Babs' Mae West type voice. So fun!
"We have to do what she wants or else we won't get into the sorority!"

The first movie is available for free on a couple of platforms if you search it on Roku.

That dance is everything.

Night of the Demons 3 is hilarious in that they seemingly spent the entire budget on the animated credits sequence (which wasn't even that good), and then suddenly realized they actually had to make a movie.

Is 2 worth a watch?

Whoops. Thought I responded to this.
I watched Night of the Demons 2 last night and I actually thought it was a better film overall. It was more consistent in tone, acting, directing, and writing. However, I realize it wasn't as "fresh" as the first one.
Jennifer Rhodes absolutely made that film. She should be a DL icon!
Also, break me off a piece of that Ladd York.

What about Night of the Creeps?

The first one is the best IMO, but I like Parts 2 and 3 as well—all are ridiculous, but they're great Halloween movies. Angela's dance to "Stigmata Martyr" is an iconic scene. Scream Factory just put both sequels out on Blu-ray this week, and upgraded the original film with a new 4K release. I ordered all of them, and got the two sequels by mail today.
This is an anecdotal side note, but I remember as a child in the late '90s being absolutely mortified by the video artwork for "Night of the Demons 2" at the video store. It scared the absolute shit out of me. Years later when I actually saw the film as an adult, it was funny looking back given how ridiculous the movie is.

The scene where a possessed Linnea Quigley shoves a tube of lipstick into her tit is legendary.
