God I hope this one is better than that terrible third movie.
I liked the first and second, albeit they were very different. The second is very campy, while the first more atmospheric and builds tension.
Looks...very 2020s horror.

Reading the Trivia section for the new film on IMDB confirms my suspicions.
It’s a mistake not to have Victor Salva or Jonathan Breck (the Creeper) involved.

R4 the sequel was about a group of HS cheerleaders and football jocks stuck on the bus on their way to a tournament when he attacks. Believable some of them were hot.

I really like #2. The monster was so frightening hopping in the grass. And the kids running for their lives not knowing which one was going to be picked off. It was very suspenseful.

r3, Victor Salva is a fucking serial pedophile and I don't mean by Twitter's 'a 40 y/o dating an 18 y/o is a pedophile' definition. Hollywood shouldn't have even pursued a sequel in this series because it's just going to drive people to watch the earlier movies Salva created.

Just started watching it. So far it's fucking horrible. Love the uber flaming gay guy who gets killed after 10 seconds of screen time after making comments about fashion and running like a complete flaming loser. So embarrassing. It's a low budget shitfest.
