Malls look better when they are full of well dressed people. Today malls are either empty or full of slobs in shorts and oversized t-shirts.

There was this weird story years ago that there were a lot of young, teen prostitutes working the Mall of America. Rich guys would buy teens expensive items in exchange for whatever.

Then, I found out a niece of mine got arrested there around the same time. It was so bad she got shipped down to her grandmother in Texas.

I kind of assumed the worst.

Went to a company meeting in Minneapolis years ago and they kept yammering on about the Mall as though it was the greatest tourist attraction. Dear God. I had zero interest in visiting a mall. Went to the boring, mandatory meeting, never left the hotel, flew home.

I went ten years ago…the locals insisted.

I loved 90s Northpark Mall. I heard it went downhill in the early 2000s. It’s nice to learn it is thriving.
