Cottagecore
Cottagecore is believed to have originated in the WLW (lezzie) communities, then adopted by straight cutsie-wootsie women and, in an unexpected detour, The Beckhams!!??, occasionally Harry Styles, and straight bobos (bourgeois Bohemians). Is there any gay Cottagecore? Or would it by necessarily be QUEER Cottagecore? Personalities, designers, movies, towns, etc.
Discuss Cottagecore.

Wasn't that what those Beekman Boys fame whores were all about?

Well sort of yeah - but they fall into the "country squire" carve-out, don't they? BOBO perhaps, but were they (are they) even bohemian. It was all so "entrepreneurial" and they seemed terribly anal about perfection. Like The NY Times story a few weeks back about wealthy urbanites in USA during covid snapping up farms and playing at "fairy farmmaid".

A tentative definition:
Cottagecore is a fashion aesthetic popularised by teenagers and young adults celebrating an idealised rural life. Traditionally based on a rural English and European life,[1] it was developed throughout the 2010s[2][3] and was first named cottagecore on Tumblr in 2018.[4] The aesthetic centres on traditional rural clothing, interior design, and crafts such as drawing, baking, and pottery, and is related to similar aesthetic movements such as grandmacore, farmcore, goblincore, and fairycore.[5]
Some sources describe cottagecore as a subculture of Millennials[6] and Generation Z.[7][8][1][6][9]

Every millennial designer worth their salt is ripping off the Bloomsbury Group, the original 'design your fantasy interior' group.

A HUGE trend during Lockdown No.1 was hand painting designs onto pre-existing, usually thriftshop bought vases and plates. It reached epidemic level, just like the corona. One artist, whose name I can't remember, has made serious bank off this trend. Tacky AF
