I seem to recall a minor "scandal" from many years ago that routes for one of them - FedEx, UPS - had been assigned to drivers based on looks.

In high density, business areas, like NYC, they'd purposely assign better looking drivers who would do both pickups and deliveries so that the secretaries were more inclined to call their company rather than the others. There was some sort of discrimination lawsuit by a driver because he was assigned an "unfavorable" route because he wasn't hot enough.

Does anyone else remember this? I remembering a real event or was this some random sitcom that I've conflated with reality?
