Actually her Europe tour ended this past week, in Switzerland. It sold out all over.

She is doing some shows in the states in late August.

This was the set list. However, she took requests at some of the shows, so she did some other songs not on the set list at times due to requests.

Did she sit for the whole concert?

I saw her about twelve years ago at Radio City Music Hall and she was fantastic.

R32 she is performing at Radio City Music Hall again on September 13th. Her only show in NY. After than she’s doing around 6 shows in Vegas.

Why should you care, R41? I follow a couple of Brits on Twitter who have seen her and really enjoyed the concerts. She and Tina Turner have done very well living in Europe. Everything is so much closer that it is easier to tour. Fans are more grateful and less bitchy and demanding.

Diana lives in LA. She’s a legend who is beloved worldwide. The Europeans are definitely a lot more gracious and kind to big stars like her coming there. The states takes her for granted.

Her album she dropped last year did nothing here but was a Top 10 hit in the UK, for example. She still sells there. They love her.

On another note, is this a cover song or one of her songs? I’ve never heard this one, I don’t think. She sounds like she’s struggling a lot there, vocally. This was the end of that concert, so I wonder if she wore her voice out. I love that the audience is singing back at her and along with her.

Ross has a CT estate formerly owned by the Reynolds family if Tobacco fortune. She has not lived full time at the home in years. She goes there on occasion, her son's wedding for example. Also Christmas. She resides primarily in LA.

Diana Ross is incredible. There will never be another. Incomparable.

R48 thank you! Sorry, I was born in the 80s. I grew up hearing her in the 90s because of my stepdad. He always loved music and he loved Diana Ross, mostly with The Supremes, but her early solo stuff also. He didn’t like her “I’m Coming Out” type music.

I was introduced to her, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Roberta Flack, Evelyn Champagne King, Elvis etc. through him at a young age. Also artists like Richard Marx and Meatloaf.

My mom listened to a lot of Gloria Estefan, Mariah, Whitney, Madonna etc.

When I began touring solo and got tired near the end of a show, I'd lipsynch to Diana's voice on our songs. She should try doing that more often, too. :)

Which is why I won’t waste my money seeing her again. I saw her 12 years ago and I can see that it’s the same boring set list.

Many of her hits are too tired to hear squabbled out by her now deteriorated voice. Her recent hit with Tame Impala for the new Minions movie was really unlistenable due to her horrible vocals.

That being said, you all introduced me to her 2 years ago basically, and I went down the Youtube Rabbit hole- A superlative live performer, with a far better voice than I realized. (Beautiful phrasing too) I watched alot of 74-83 stuff and I have not seen that kind of charisma on stage before. Even in a Youtube video!

Thousands of fans are still willing to pay to see her perform, deteriorated voice be damned. In fact, she stated a few years ago that she doesn't care if she misses some of the notes, and forgets some of the words to her songs. She's there to have a good time and to enjoy the appreciation of her audience.
