Natalie Portman should have won the Oscar for ‘Jackie’ (2016)!!!
There, I said it!!! She was so wonderful in every frame of that film, and truly captured the mannerisms of Jackie, as well as how she carried herself.
What a beautiful performance! I don’t understand how Emma Stone won. I will never understand how she beat Isabelle Huppert and Natalie Portman. The win should have went to one of them.

Natalie Portman shouldn't have even won for "Black Swan" in 2011!

I get her appeal and I don't really dislike her, but she's the most self concious actress of her generation.

She put her all into that role. She was wonderful.

Thought her Jackie performance was the worst I've see. Then I saw Stewart as Diana.

Portman did an irritating impersonation. Her character as written was a pale shadow of the original woman.

I'm waiting for Blonde on Netflix before I make a commitment.

Yes! An Oscar for Best Performance by Eyebrows was totally deserved.

It may be apocryphal, but didn't they make Jackie remain covered in JFK's blood and brains so that they could gather evidence before they allowed her to clean up?
Also, didn't she arrange to have her outfit that was covered in his blood throw into the ocean something because she knew that people would try to obtain it.

Why does he hair look so terrible @ OP? Seriously -- it's like a ratty Korean weave plopped on a mannequin's head.

Amy Adams should have won that year for “Arrival”, but she wasn’t even nominated. Travesty!

Natalie is usually a bore but every now and then she tears it up. She was nominated (or won) each time she did something special.

R19, allegedly she kept it on for LBJ to be sworn in and said, "I want them to see what they've done to him." I believe.

She's average at best. Not the slightest bit Oscarworthy.

This is something only a gay would say. That film is just catnip for queens whose knowledge of American history doesn't extend beyond Jackie's pink Chanel suit and pillbox hat. Give it a rest FFS.

I am all for some of you finding the performance to be overrated, but when you watch this performance and then sit and watch the performance that won, what a joke. Portman deserved it. Huppert deserved it.
Stone shouldn’t have been nominated.

RONAN HATED JACKIE....
He is very shady about "Jackie" throughout, which made me laugh! He quotes both his mother and DAVID REMNICK trashing it.
Here's the page when NYer editors are shocked by the Ambra Gutierrez recording that Oppenheim didn't think was newsworthy.
