Op, before the beating, if you were listening, Nate had Maddy willing to claim that Tyler raped her. There was also videos of the two fucking. Tyler is in his 20s, Maddy was 16 or 17. So it was either take that beating of risk being charged as a child preditor with jail and that on your record for life. The blackmail is what Nate had over him .

Yes, but that wasn't Nate' origional plan. Nate settled on that after he was arrested for choking Maddy. He needed a way out and went back to Tyler to tell him what needed to be done. If he never choked out Maddy he likley wouldn't have never visitef Tyler again.
