Did anyone see I’ll Eat You Last during it’s run? Bette doesn’t really get Sue’s mid-Atlantic accent right, or well at all, but it seems funny enough.
It was great fun, but at the performance I saw, Miss Midler called for a line 4 or 5 times.

I got rush tickets to it. A fun afternoon of theater, but rather slight. As far as one person shows go (that are not career retrospective), "Anne", starring Holland Taylor and "Say Goodnight Gracie" with Frank Gorshin were so much better. Bette just seemed to be Bette to me which is most likely why she did not get a terminate nomination while Holland and Frank did. That being said, I wish I had seen "I am my own wife". One of my regrets in Broadway plays I missed.

I meant Tony nomination above obviously. At least Google voice recognition didn't change it to termite.
