A number of the hour-long episodes were duds. I'd have to watch them again to remember which ones though.

Was it ever revealed if Ricky paid for the Mertz' hotel room at the Beverly Palms? After the movie is finished, he says that the studio is no longer paying, he is but I assumed that was for his suite. The Mertz' very sneakily got a free ride to Hollywood so I wouldn't doubt they found a way to get Ricky to pay for their room for over a month. I doubt Fred would have done that.

r4 did Ricky end up making another film in Hollywood?

Yeah, but they dropped that plot in a hurry: they said he made a picture and they were heading home, but never said the name of the picture and it never Premiered and he never made another movie after that, nor even talked about it.

I thought the reason they dropped Don Juan and put him in a movie that was never identified is because they thought the audiences were so stupid that there was really going to be a movie called Don Juan.

I just watched Lucy Raises Tulips. Betty Ramsey was a thoroughly unlikable character.

Most of the Connecticut episodes were duds.

I'm surprised they were remaking Don Juan considering Errol Flynn made "The Adventures of Don Juan" six years previously in 1949.
