I really am sorry for this poor guy and especially his wife and family. But it's such a random story. People are killed by these strikes constantly and I don't think they make headlines very frequently. I've never seen this show they mention and the actress can't be that terribly famous if that's the work they link her to. So why make a story out of an obscure actress's spouse? Did they just want to do the story of a lightning strike killing someone or was there some other significance?

A friend of a friend was struck by lightning about a month ago. He spent a week in the ICU. He’s still doing physical therapy. The major thing he has to deal with is 90% hearing loss. Dr’s think some of the hearing will come back. Lightning is no joke and if you don’t know what to do review the precautions:
