Why Did People Make Curds and Whey?

Why not just drink milk? Or make a nice, aged cheese?

OP is a cunt

Who do we look like? Little Miss Muffet? Why don't you ask her? She's the one sitting on her tuffet.

I just finished this, started it a few weeks before it wrapped. It was amazing! I’m really hoping for a season 2.

by Anonymousreply 7July 1, 2022 2:41 AM

How the fuck did that happen lol

by Anonymousreply 8July 1, 2022 2:41 AM

I'm trying to make the curds go whey.

by Anonymousreply 9July 1, 2022 2:51 AM

Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, eating her curds and whey.

Along came a spider who sat down beside her, and said “What’s in the bowl, bitch?”

by Anonymousreply 12July 2, 2022 11:33 AM

Not worth F&Fing the OP and some of these reply posters, just blocking.

Whey is leftover from cheese production, yet highly nutritious.

Our ancestors knew not to waste anything.

Curds are food, on the way to becoming even better food.

"Wheyst not want not"

I was going to give you a pity wit and wisdom, but that would just be demeaning to the both of us.

You know what you did.

by Anonymousreply 15July 2, 2022 11:55 AM

How the heck do you fry curds?

by Anonymousreply 16July 2, 2022 11:58 AM

People had different tastes back then. Our children eat jellied fruit mixed into mass produced yogurt, packed in plastic containers. They would not eat whey.

by Anonymousreply 17July 2, 2022 2:57 PM

Years ago “diet plates” in diners were things like a hamburger without a bun and a big pile of cottage cheese dumped on top of it. Only fat people ate cottage cheese.
