Scary, because Drs don't know what ails him. The facility looks like a halfway house.

why all the way there? can't he just go to Oregon, VT, NM, etc? assisted suicide is legal in these states.

One may hope he left behind a truthful memoir that names names and escapes the shredder anyway

Probably because in the US you have to be diagnosed with a terminal illness with six months or less to live.

I’m jealous. We won’t be able to do that in the US.

Everyone should have this luxury

Snap out of it, r7, you’re only 17!

Will his final song be Last Dance?

by Anonymousreply 10June 26, 2022 12:47 AM

It’s so wrong. Adult people, unless they will be imminently brain-dead, should not put their loved ones through this. His state of mind sounds fine.

Poor guy, he's 82, and he knows its not going to get better at this point

[quote]"I can’t walk, my speech is f–ked up and I can’t do anything for myself,” Fleischman told The Post. “My wife helps me get into bed and I can’t dress or put on my shoes. I am taking a gentle way out. It is the easiest way out for me.”

I'd do the same in his position. I've seen a loved one go through this at 95, people should be able to end when their quality of life gets too bad to make life worthwhile

Has Ian Schrager commented?

Dignitas is fantastic as is the Swiss gov for allowing even foreigners to come to the country to put an end to suffering and to exit with dignity.

Good for him.

Was he the one who was supposed to have been trying to fuck Ryan Phillipe's character in the movie?

A bullet to the temple still works without the need of flying halfway around the world
