I said this a few years back. The intent by right wing extremists is not only to a woman's right to choose, but to also make contraception and gay marriage illegal, and even to once again criminalize homosexuality. I wasn't being ridiculous even back then because I knew how much effort and money by the Federalist Society was going into getting extremist judges appointed in high levels of government. This was a very likely if not an inevitable eventuality. Democrats have poor political infrastructure when it comes to messaging and appointing judges and enacting laws. Republicans have been going further right in the last 30 years and Democrats keep moving to the right along with them to meet in the middle as a compromise.
