Did the writers name the character Lucy after Lucille Ball? The storyline seems like a situation that Lucy Ricardo would find herself in, choking to death on a chicken ball and then being resurrected a year later.

Not one of Shelley’s better comedies…but whenever it was on cable I’d watch just for the scene featuring Corbin Bernsen’s furry blond chest.

She was only gone a year. Her family really were a-holes to her and moved on way too quick.

This movie seems to have a cult following with gay men born in the 1980s and grew up with it.

I remember seeing this in the theaters when I was 6. At the time, I really didn’t understand what was going on other than she died, came back to life by her witch sister, and didn’t end up with her husband.
