White GA Parents Chase Black Teacher out of town Due to fake CRT Hysteria

These people are totally nuts. Just another example of how Right Wing lies and misinformation can create a witch hunt aimed at educators who aren't even talking about CRT, much less teaching it. But anything about "diversity and inclusion" these days gets white people (and minorities who want to identify as "white") into a lather.

Notice the use of Black children as props in the story's photo by the protesters.

Critical Race Theory isn't about teaching history. It's about telling living white people that they are responsible for the atrocities of past centuries and to shame them into giving up whatever they have earned by their own hard work.

by Anonymousreply 1June 18, 2022 4:13 PM

Oh, shut the fuck up, R1.

by Anonymousreply 2June 18, 2022 4:15 PM

In Georgia, many of the white people do descend from either slave owners, slave hunters or racist poor whites who maintained the system of white supremacy. They had Confederate statues and battle flags up until recently. Why do you think white Southerners who vote Republican are going ballistic about the fact? If they weren't racist and had nothing to feel ashamed. They would not be behaving in such a reactive way.

by Anonymousreply 3June 18, 2022 4:19 PM

r2 Facts are facts.

by Anonymousreply 4June 18, 2022 4:20 PM

CRT is/was primarily something taught in college - generally in elective courses. It has never been as broad-based as the hysteria is painting it. CRT in the context it's being used by the right simply means "anything involving race in history, the social sciences, or any subject that we don't agree with and don't want taught." At this point teaching kids that slavery was generally a miserable existence is CRT. Teaching about the rise of the KKK could be labeled CRT. Teaching about things like redlining and housing discrimination could be CRT.

by Anonymousreply 5June 18, 2022 4:20 PM

r3 CRT isn't just happening in the southern states where the evil act of slavery prospered. It's about scapegoating even liberal white people as being complicit and responsible. It's complete lunacy.

by Anonymousreply 6June 18, 2022 4:21 PM

I don't even know what CRT is but this all sounds like right-wing hysteria and not one teacher I'm acquainted with gives a shit about CRT much less teaches it. Teaching that white people had slaves is actual history.

by Anonymousreply 7June 18, 2022 4:22 PM

r7 there is nothing wrong with teaching real American history, of which the damage done by white supremacy is a major part. But CRT is racial essentialism which seeks to segregate. The darker your skin now, the purer your virtue.

And???

by Anonymousreply 9June 18, 2022 4:24 PM

r9, people who weren't even alive then are not responsible for the actions of those who are dead.

by Anonymousreply 10June 18, 2022 4:26 PM

I don't understand why it's so scandalous? Nobody is saying white people are evil. Teaching about slavery, segregation, Jim Crow laws and lynch mobs that kept black people economically an underclass is part of American history. Americans are seen as insane by the rest of the world because we lack knowledge of our national history and cultural heritage. I know people from other countries who memorized their national history and can explain. Most Americans seem willfully ignorant and it's why history is repeating itself

by Anonymousreply 11June 18, 2022 4:26 PM

Russian bots busy at work again...

by Anonymousreply 12June 18, 2022 4:28 PM

r11 nobody is saying white people are evil? That's EXACTLY what they are saying actually. There's a huge trend on twitter now saying that white people are genetically coded to have no empathy and that black people are the purest form of humanity. That's the kind of illogical lunacy which Nazis spouted when they were demonizing the Jews.

by Anonymousreply 13June 18, 2022 4:29 PM

R8 that sounds like college shit and not Jr and high school history. I'm in in Texas and I'm not buying into this crt hysteria the right is pushing.

by Anonymousreply 15June 18, 2022 4:31 PM

R11 I agree but the rest of the world has a lack of awareness of their historical treatment of black and brown people. The world chooses to ignore it or deny it. It’s more visible in America because we “try” to talk about it.

Would the idiot posting over and over again that it's about telling white people they are evil. to link to the actual curriculum titled: "You White People Are Evil"

And don't think "The Manhattan Institute" is a legitimate source. It would be like using the Family Research Council as your source for proving gays are grooming.

Whites who fly the Stars and Bars, get pissed when statues of Confederates are taken down, or buildings/schools named after Confederates are changed: "YOU CAN'T IGNORE HISTORY! HERITAGE NOT HATE!"

Mentioning that white plantation owners in the past South imprisoned, black people against their will and many became wealthy from their forced labor and that the Confederates were and always will be the "wrong" side: WOKE! RACIST AGAINST WHITES! TEACHING OUR WHITE KIDS TO HATE THEMSELVES! WOKE AGENDA! RACE WAR! 2A! 2A! DON'T TREAD ON THE WHITES AND OUR FIREARMS! COLD HANDS!

If you see a story of a Muslim stabbing someone on an entirely different continent, you will blame over a billion people all over the world for it. People liek you have no problem holding entire groups of non-whites responsible for the actions of individuals.

I also don't doubt you're that asshole who when slavery comes up, will immediately pull that shit of "Duh, blacks and Mooslams were selling people into slavery first! And white people were busy creating rainbows and unicorns."

by Anonymousreply 25June 18, 2022 4:58 PM

r23 we can acknowledge the evil of slavery and still acknowledge that no white people who are living today were responsible for it. Both things can be true.

by Anonymousreply 26June 18, 2022 4:58 PM

Through lies and misinformation we've become like the classic Twilight Zone episode where aliens briefly turn out the lights as an experiment and people atart shooting each other.

by Anonymousreply 27June 18, 2022 5:02 PM

R26 I don't think slavery was evil because we merely purchased blacks that had become slaves in tribal wars in Africa. I don't know of any blacks who want to go back to Africa.

by Anonymousreply 28June 18, 2022 5:11 PM

I think brown people could be human but they have small genetic differences that condemn them to eternal poverty . The problem is that their overpopulation is polluting the environment. Whites need to stop carrying them.

by Anonymousreply 29June 18, 2022 5:16 PM

by Anonymousreply 30June 18, 2022 5:28 PM

R8 But it was ok when the whiter the skin, the purer the virtue. What’s the problem now?

by Anonymousreply 31June 18, 2022 5:28 PM

r31 the problem is, it then just becomes about black supremacy instead of an equal society.

by Anonymousreply 32June 18, 2022 5:29 PM

I'm black and I don't think any white people today are responsible for it. My biggest bone is segregation laws and the failure of the Reconstruction. Slavery was evil but what was worse was the fact The US government did literally nothing to help black Americans assimilate into American society and allowed the South to terrorize us for over 100 years. And it was gradual, in 1870s many blacks were attending schools, running for office, voting and trying to gain ownership of land. But by the 1890s, blacks were in shitty technical/trade schools that went up to like 8th grade, were scared out of voting and running for office by the KKK, were mass incarcerated for minor things and forced to work on farms as sharecroppers or leased convicts, were barred from owning guns in some states, barred from voting based on literacy tests and 1896 ruling made segregation legal. Then all the lynchings happened. Basically 100 years of race-based terrorism and anti-black Confederacy romanticization propaganda. Burning down black towns like Rosewood and business centers like in Tulsa. It took a movement that ran from 1950s to mid-1960s to get the federal government to pass laws to protect us. It's only been three generations since the Civil Rights Bill passed and many elderly black people remember how hard it was.

TL;DR. Slavery is overstated. The failure of the Reconstruction, apathy from the federal government and the consolidation of power given to Southern Democrats created the monster of systemic racism today.

by Anonymousreply 33June 18, 2022 5:35 PM

Wow, the racists (i.e. R28-30, R32) are whirling like dervishes today.

I'm hoping R25 is satirical.

Geez some of you guys need to get to the dry cleaners to get your klan robes back before the Juneteenth holiday.

A good friend of mine lived in Cherokee County for a couple of years but all the Trumpism in his neighborhood in 2020 got to be too depressing and he took a transfer to Savannah, where he is much happier.

by Anonymousreply 35June 18, 2022 5:39 PM

Are modern Americans responsible for slavery? No.

Do Southerners think the Confederacy lost the Civil War? No.

Is American society systemically racist as fuck? Yes.

America contains a multitude of truths. We cannot continue as a democratic society until we address those hard truths about the legacy of slavery. Striking back at anybody who dares to say America is racist just proves their point yet again.

by Anonymousreply 36June 18, 2022 5:44 PM

We should also teach white Americans that most of their ancestors came here as poor indentured servants, peasants and criminals and they didn't identify as "white" to begin with. That wealthy Anglo-Saxon Protestants oppressed everyone at first but settled on black people being the lowest because it was more convenient to enslave people who were the darkest skin and foreign to the land. And European servants could blend in and Natives had knowledge of the land to run away. Then the system of chattel slavery developed and Barbados and Beacon's Rebellion were turning points to the American caste system with laws defining blackness and a permanent slave status by being born to a black mother. I learned this stuff in college though in a comprehensive American history course. I was shocked to learn that early 1600s America was vastly different and it took decades to form the American chattel system that was entrenched by the 1700s.

by Anonymousreply 37June 18, 2022 5:45 PM

R33 slavery is over. Go back to Africa. Geesh.

by Anonymousreply 40June 18, 2022 5:48 PM

Also the Puritans were misunderstood. They were not seeking "freedom" they wanted a theocracy based on their radical belief system. And as opposed to the French, Spanish and Portuguese who were Latinized and metropolitan in aspects thus not opposed to racial mixing and syncretization of culture as long as everyone was a Catholic. Puritans were very tribal and wanted the land for themselves and very intolerant of outsiders, they saw everyone as a heretic including the Catholics in the South and Natives who may have been "noble" but still savage. Thanksgiving is weird because we romanticize an event that still resulted in genocide.

by Anonymousreply 41June 18, 2022 5:51 PM

My Dad is only in his 50’s and was born in a segregated hospital. Some of you are OLDER than my Dad and want to pretend legal racism against black people in this country was sooo far away.

by Anonymousreply 46June 18, 2022 6:31 PM

It will never be a black supremacy. Black people do not have the economic power to shift the paradigm and frankly neither do Hispanics. It's all about the Benjamins. Now rich immigrants from East Asia, India and the Middle East could shift the paradigm.

by Anonymousreply 52June 18, 2022 6:46 PM

Most blacks fought for the south to preserve slavery. Crack open a bible. Brown and yellow equals slave. Very dangerous to not know your place.

by Anonymousreply 55June 18, 2022 6:55 PM

It's so funny how conservatives go on about public schools indoctrinating children. First of all, if you work in a school, you know damn well kids don't give a shit and don't even listen to their teachers. Schools can barely teach as it is, so who can they indoctrinate? It's hard to brainwash kids when they're on their phones and talking back all the time to teachers. Conservatives hate teachers despite the fact they babysit their brats who insult and disrespect them for 8 hours a day and teachers also have to be bodyguards in case of school shooters.

by Anonymousreply 56June 18, 2022 6:55 PM

R56 that's not true. Kids believe what they are taught.

by Anonymousreply 57June 18, 2022 7:00 PM

R56. Conservatives do have such contradictory opinions on teachers.

They want kids in schools but also want to control almost everything on the curriculum (why not just home school then?). And they don't trust teachers to talk to kids about anything beyond their jobs but they want to hand them guns to protect the very kids they aren't supposed to be talking to.

It's insane.

by Anonymousreply 58June 18, 2022 7:00 PM

R34 whites pioneered the country and fought many wars to gain ownership of America. Blacks are former slaves who most don't consider human. It's ludicrous to consider blacks equal to us.

by Anonymousreply 59June 18, 2022 7:02 PM

Schools would be so much more effective if teachers had more power and students did as well. Teachers would be able to find what works best for certain students and older students could have more freedom to give input on what would help them learn better. But it's all about what the parents and administrators want and it's failing both educators and students.

by Anonymousreply 60June 18, 2022 7:04 PM

r7 it doesn't apply just to whites or blacks..

the problem ties more in the bastardization of the theory far removed from it's academic origins and where more aggressive street activists have taken the reigns in some cases...

The greater damage has been disproportionately to other minorities than ados... more specifically, the revision of history when many said minorities were only just being included in textbooks beyond a byline or an elective in public school systems.

And that it has been weaponized by some districts but that rarely gets into public discussion...

the left quibbles over semantics and dodges any earnest discussion it, assuming anyone that dares question it or similar practices is an alt-right russian neonazi that wears white hoods after labor day. . . just as the right carries their pitchforks and tiki torches into schoolboard meetings threatening demanding white be added to pride flag and are incapable of having a reasonable discussion on it.. because you're either with us or against us in this delusional madness of the last decade.

by Anonymousreply 65June 18, 2022 7:09 PM

You know what is really responsible for the "indoctrination" of your kiddos, Cons? Life.

You raise them and drill in their heads for years that gays, blacks, browns, women, liberals, foreigners,, etc are evil, terrible, immoral, and hateful. For 18-20 years you tell them!

And then, they get out of your house. Maybe they get a job or they go to school or have a roommate that has friends who are one or more of these "undesirables". They start interacting with them and they realize those people they were raised to fear and hate are just like them. They realize the REAL "indoctrination" had been happening in daddy and mommy's house of hate.

It's not the schools, Cons. It's not Hollywood. It's not movies or books. It's Life. You can't stop your kids from thinking on their own no matter how many books you ban, public school teachers you bully, liberals you accuse of pedophilia. It's never worked before and it won't work this time either.

by Anonymousreply 66June 18, 2022 7:13 PM

Opinionators on the Twitter machine have made the case that the ultimate conservative goal here is to eliminate public education entirely. If they can destroy public education in the US, then all those little brown children will be forced to go to their religious "charter" schools, where they'll be free to shove whatever garbage they like down their throats.

by Anonymousreply 67June 18, 2022 7:13 PM

by Anonymousreply 71June 18, 2022 7:34 PM

R68 Thomas Sowell is a classist and has been debunked for his pseudohistory. A lot of Black culture derives from West African traditions as they were isolated from poor whites on the plantation. It was easy for Black people to retain their traditions being the majority on plantations and often away from white people. Also there are many Black cultures just as there are different poor white cultures. Free people of color in the North were more influenced by the English and Dutch descendants. Black people in French/Spanish/Portuguese colonies were different. Black Southern culture is a blend of West African and English-Scottish-Welsh-Irish culture. Yes the black vernacular is derived from poor Southern whites that is true. But black Southerners were not "imitating" rednecks or hillbillies, there was cultural influence from both sides but Black culture has more West Africanisms. Also, poor whites were influenced more by imitating the white upper-class including conforming to anti-black racism and defining themselves by distancing themselves from their black neighbors. In the Appalachia there was more cultural diffusion like the banjo and blues chords becoming a commonplace among hillfolk.

Poor people have a lot in common in general. Every stereotype he names is commonly associated with poor people worldwide and throughout history by the upper-class. Not at all distinctive to just poor whites and blacks. Look at the Romani people in Europe. Or the stereotypes of the lower caste in India. Instead of addressing the issue of poverty, he like many wealthy people just shames them to justify the hierarchy and capitalist systems of control. And poverty in Britain still exists among white British and all the stereotypes exist like council trash, Chavs and Travellers.

by Anonymousreply 72June 18, 2022 7:35 PM

Like are these racist Dataloungers gay?

If so, it just shows they chose whiteness over being gay. But I’m reality, no straight white Christian will ever look at them the way they look at themselves, being white and gay is worse than being black cause you’re a pedo to them.

Most school shootings happen in the most boring suburbs ever. Please work in a public school. Nothing I said is describing a ghetto or rural area.

CRT = teaching American history the way it really happened which means a total acceptance of slavery as the brutal and inhumane practice that it is and the policies of oppression that were enacted on the Black community after its abolition.

White people don't want their kids learning the truth because they don't want their kids to grow a conscience and try to rectify the injustices done. It might put a crimp in the whole white supremacy thing.

R33 says the Jim Crow era was full of lynchings and "100 years of race-based terrorism and anti-black Confederacy romanticization propaganda" but apparently doesn't think the slavery era was. That's insane.

by Anonymousreply 92June 18, 2022 10:13 PM

[quote]R84: And they are intentionally derailing the legitimate criticism of CRT.

There isn't any 'legitimate criticism' of CRT in play, R84. 𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑖𝑡 is predicated upon gaslighting and histrionic misrepresentations of what CRT is.

r93 that's bullshit. It's about turning the tables on white people and ultimate segregation. I understand the revenge impulse but it does you no favors to lie about what it really is.

by Anonymousreply 94June 18, 2022 10:46 PM

R82 You don’t want to be Africa? White conservative ideology is closer to Africa than African Americans. Making abortion illegal, criminalizing homosexuality, etc. For people with such contempt of Black and Middle Easterns, you sure all want to adopt their policies.

African Americans are AMERICANS. Africa was 400 years ago. We’ve got nothing to do with Africa. Your family probably hasn’t even been in this country for 400 years.

by Anonymousreply 95June 18, 2022 10:56 PM

R94, it does you no favors to project your own self-consciousness of guilt onto others in an attempt to malign them or impugn their motives. It says more about you than it does them.

by Anonymousreply 96June 18, 2022 10:57 PM

In Germany, German kids in high school are required to visit a concentration camp at least once.

What did they have to do with the Holocaust?

by Anonymousreply 97June 18, 2022 10:59 PM

To ensure they aren't part of a future Holocaust.

by Anonymousreply 98June 18, 2022 11:00 PM

R97, they live in a society of which the Holocaust was a past seminal event. The only way to help insure that it will not happen again is to familiarize them with the history of it.

by Anonymousreply 99June 18, 2022 11:02 PM

by Anonymousreply 101June 18, 2022 11:16 PM

R100 / R101, you're so flustered that you posted twice! :D

The 'self-consciousness of guilt' is accusing others of lying when you know it's what you've been doing.

If you really wanted others to have equal rights, then you'd stop lying about CRT. Trust me - this is not worth the handful of rubles you get for posting it.

by Anonymousreply 102June 18, 2022 11:21 PM

[quote] One speaker, a volunteer for a Republican gubernatorial candidate, accused Ms Lewis of being a racist herself and disgracing the work of Martin Luther King, Jr.

And you can be sure that if Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, this same speaker would be accusing King of being "a racist himself."

This has become the new conservative strategy: to label anyone who points out examples of racism or discrimination against blacks, anyone who fights for civil rights, as being "racist themselves." They're trying to confuse the issue and dilute the term "racism" so that it no longer has any real meaning.

Note: This is the same strategy that leads them to say things like: "If we have Pride Month, then why shouldn't we also have Straight Month?"

Won't be long now until the Supreme Court overturns Brown v. Board of Education.

by Anonymousreply 104June 18, 2022 11:37 PM

R84 our founding fathers never even imagined we would be dumb enough to allow foreign races on our land. It's not about white supremacy. This is about the fact that humans are tribal and fracture along racial lines . We most likely fracture along racial lines because other races have very different genes from us . Look at the history of races living side by side. It leads to genocide. History shows that humans are brutal and it pays to be in power and have strength in numbers.

by Anonymousreply 105June 18, 2022 11:39 PM

R100 nobody is equal. It's an absurd idea. You are either in power or you are a victim. We need to respect the threat posed by foreigners in our land.

by Anonymousreply 115June 19, 2022 2:34 AM

No one "chased" a "black teacher" anywhere.

This is propaganda. The black woman who is an administrator is lying when she says she's never heard of critical race theory.

Everyone is lying when they pretend that racialized history instruction that frames white people as evil and black people as angelic is not happening. You're just lying, there are too many examples of it.

Real history is fine. Personalizing history as unresolved is evil.

As long as people try to use children as political tools, whether from the left or the right, there's going to be conflict. Idiots, all.

by Anonymousreply 116June 19, 2022 2:40 AM

Wow r116, you really are that stupid.

[quote]We need to respect the threat posed by foreigners in our land.

This poster is obviously trolling. He's been baiting people into mentioning that whites in the Americas ARE the foreigners. Everything he says is offensive and troll-baiting.

Also, his bad English comes and goes, as evidenced by both this thread and "Why for Macaulay Culkin stay closet?"

I can't fathom why someone would spend a Saturday afternoon doing this, but I also can't fathom why no one has FF'ed him.

by Anonymousreply 122June 19, 2022 3:11 AM

R122 in every country, racial minorities are persecuted. It's foolish for whites to give up power. As you pointed out, the native Indians paid dearly for their relaxed immigration stance. If you were white, I'd tell you to go live in a black dominated neighborhood.

by Anonymousreply 123June 19, 2022 3:31 AM

As a non-white person, I would like to know from a white person: What are you so afraid of? I mean, ultimately there is apparently a real fear of losing something, but what exactly is that?

by Anonymousreply 124June 19, 2022 3:38 AM

[quote] Why for Macaulay Culkin stay closet?

This could only be the work of a Russian bot

by Anonymousreply 125June 19, 2022 3:40 AM

R124, race riots are dangerous. Also, racial division dilutes every progressive political impulse. Thirdly, black people aren't magical, and everyone knows it, except for some very wealthy people or pretenders.

The real division in every country, in every civilization, is based on money, also known as "class".

Everything that distracts you from this realization is evil.

by Anonymousreply 126June 19, 2022 3:43 AM

It could very easily be the work of someone trying to sound like they can't speak English, when they actually can. The rest of his post is perfectly fine. His "bad English" comes and goes.

Sorry to mention Cosby out of nowhere, but that post title sounded like an old Cosby joke, when he was trying and failing to sound like a little kid, "Why for not you drink your drink?"

I'm just not convinced. Everything that troll has said has been too perfect, too pointed, too on the nose.

by Anonymousreply 127June 19, 2022 3:43 AM

NOW do ya'll understand why we're so pissed off by DL's troll farm takeover?

by Anonymousreply 128June 19, 2022 7:48 AM

I still can't understand why some people try to say there are no trolls on this forum. It must be the trolls themselves, but it still seems like such a waste of time to even try to tell us there's no trolling here.

by Anonymousreply 129June 19, 2022 7:50 AM

r115, all the posts you refer to are perfectly reasonable.

by Anonymousreply 130June 19, 2022 11:56 AM

It's interesting that the left continues to state that CRT is not is schools, which is true, but not exactly. It's very clever because it gives the right the opportunity to feverishly respond, to which the left again responds with CRT in schools is a myth. It's a political volley that both sides are comfortable participating in because it enflames either side & either is somewhat correct. The left is correct because literal CRT really isn't taught in schools & the right is correct because the approach of race based history & education has shifted to a politically motivated approach. Anti-racist ideas & curricula have indeed infiltrated education, many implemented questionably & producing questionable outcomes. I think calling "CRT" in schools what it is, anti-racist ideaology, would make the debate around this issue more realistic/constructive. So sure, CRT isn't being taught in a number schools, Kendi/DiAngelo endorsed anti-racism is. And yes, this has produced results that parents are within reason to question. So there is a debate happening--it's just a debate that both the left & the right are comfortable with keeping a bit obscured because it politically benefits both.

by Anonymousreply 131June 19, 2022 12:44 PM

I'm white. I live in a majority African American city. Most of the people I work with on a daily basis are African American. It's convinced me that Black women should run the world. They get things done

by Anonymousreply 132June 19, 2022 1:02 PM

You'd think that Andrew Sullivan would have better things to do than post on DL, but here we are.

by Anonymousreply 133June 19, 2022 1:20 PM

Someone explained CRT like this.

If a black woman gets fired from a job and files a lawsuit saying she was discriminated against, if the companies says they don’t discriminate because they employ white women and black men, the idea of CRT says her double minority as black and female in the workplace is why she was discriminated against.

It has nothing to do with white guilt.

by Anonymousreply 134June 19, 2022 1:49 PM

CRT is the new abortion

by Anonymousreply 135June 19, 2022 1:53 PM

by Anonymousreply 136June 19, 2022 1:59 PM

R119, whover wrote that is Russian.

by Anonymousreply 137June 19, 2022 2:23 PM

r115 none of those two posts you highlighted are even racist though. They are reasonable.

by Anonymousreply 138June 19, 2022 2:23 PM

Sorry, R134, but that person is wrong.

CRT posits that racism is so foundational in America's creation and development, that it's impossible to separate it from virtually any decision or policy made on any level of government or society since before there was an America.

White Americans today, while maybe not personally responsible for slavery and Jim Crow, still benefit economically and socially from the wealth distribution and worldviews created by slavery and Jim Crow.

This is undeniably true and hysterics who take this observation and blow it up to some anti-white conspiracy are selling you something.

by Anonymousreply 139June 19, 2022 2:36 PM

NO to CRT period.

by Anonymousreply 140June 19, 2022 3:06 PM

by Anonymousreply 141June 19, 2022 3:19 PM

From the original Pro Publication article (which is MUCH better than the poorly written MSN article):

“One of several presenters at the meeting was Rhonda Thomas, a frequent guest on conservative podcasts and the founder of the Atlanta-based Truth in Education, a national nonprofit that aims to educate parents and teachers about “radical ideologies being taught in schools.” “So what is critical race theory?” Thomas asked the crowd. “It teaches kids that whites are inherently racist and oppressive, perhaps unconsciously,” and that “all whites are responsible for all historical actions” and “should feel guilty.”

What irony!

The white parents in this school district, did EXACTLY what they claim is the definition CRT, which they claim their white ancestors did, but that they themselves don’t do, and are not responsible for.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the south is filled with some of the dumbest, most virulently racist, angriest people I’ve ever met, who generally have profoundly poor educations and have zero fucking clue what they’re talking about - EVEN WHEN THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES.

You just cannot make this shit up. FOX News can, I suppose, but you all understand what I mean.

Happy June 19th - everyone! The biggest, heaviest and most oppressive shackles one can wear are the ones which imprison the mind.

Stay safe. Stay educated. Stay where ever the fuck you want and however long, because we are FREE- even if they aren’t.

Growing up in the 2nd county they took her out of I had what could only be described as anti CRT. Teachers said shit like "If you were a farmer, you wouldn't beat up your tractor" point at Black kids and tell them how lucky they were to be in America and not in Africa with a bone through their nose.
