Where is that, exactly? One night a very long time ago, I parked my car a block north of Santa Monica, near the Blue Parrot. When I left, I met Dick Fisk on that street and we had sex in my car. I have no idea if that's Vaseline Alley, though.

R1 in runs parallel to Santa Monica Blvd on the south side of the street from Hamburger Mary's on Sweetzer to Havenhurst. A three block stretch for late night cruising, though I'm not sure how active it is these days.

It's basically the parking lot alley behind the gay bars on that block that R3 named. If you go on Google maps, they actually have it named, which surprises me.

Back in the day there were always a lot of bike cops patrolling there, but they were more concerned with drug dealing than the cruising.

It seems like the only people who use this "venue" are sloppy bottoms to get bred anonymously. It's especially popular with those who frequent the Sniffies app. Lots of closeted and down low guys from the valley and Inland Empire on the weekends.
