I know many people here at Datalounge have been wondering about my reaction to Louis’s antics this morning at the palace. Disgust. I realize that he is just four, but some if us understood decorum at that age. Such behavior will not be tolerated in my reign.
Oh, and I don’t see why I couldn’t wear a fascinator. I’m old enough.

Love that little Queen in the making, lol.

Can you believe that sailor suit? [eye roll]
He INSISTED on it.

Prince Gayling

Is this “jubilee” finally happening or are the BRF obsessed of DL still just talking about the lead up to it?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 2, 2022 5:58 PM |
Royal offspring should be kept out of sight until they're 13.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 2, 2022 6:04 PM |
Oh, it’s happening. Didn’t you see me in the window?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 2, 2022 6:04 PM |
That'll tell them. Lilibet herself is trying not to laugh at your dim witted brother. In our day he'd be hid until marriage.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 2, 2022 6:53 PM |
The sailor suit is traditional. Prince William wore the same one.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 2, 2022 6:55 PM |
That’s a kid who listens to a lot of screaming at home, or who has a horrible time listening to directions from his caretakers and is a very spoiled brat.
Could be both.
Whatever is going on there, it isn’t good.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 2, 2022 8:10 PM |
Give the kid a break, r10. Most 4 year olds aren't forced to attend a long, dreary (to them) flyover.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 2, 2022 8:35 PM |
He's really new at these big events. They didn't even take him to church on Easter.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 2, 2022 8:45 PM |
The Red Arrows were flying in formation. I’ve been at one of their displays, and the noise is diabolical.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 2, 2022 8:50 PM |
He’s four. What a cutie.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 5, 2022 11:05 PM |
I don't see why they don't give the kids noise canceling headphones or ear plugs. That noise can't be good for them.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 5, 2022 11:09 PM |
What a spoiled little brat. Clearly they let this monster run roughshod all over others, day and night.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 5, 2022 11:09 PM |
7/10 for effort.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 5, 2022 11:11 PM |
Louis is going to out-gay George just to get back at Gary Janetti.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 5, 2022 11:12 PM |
The Queen sometimes wears ear plugs.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 5, 2022 11:25 PM |
The child is "special."
A real inbred mongoloid if you ask me...
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 5, 2022 11:31 PM |
Charlotte my dear, it's your mummy's job to keep him in line in public. If he can't behave, whisk him away and drop him off with the nanny for awhile. At worst have one of the guardsmen put him in a basket hold until he behaves.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 5, 2022 11:50 PM |
Charlotte, do reach out to my dear friend Mrs Patsy Ramsey. She has extensive experience with these kinds of issues.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 5, 2022 11:53 PM |
They should just put Louis up for adoption, two children are more than enough.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 6, 2022 12:54 AM |
R11, true enough.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 6, 2022 2:00 AM |
Why is the child allowed to act like this?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 6, 2022 4:47 AM |
He was a little menace from start to finish.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 6, 2022 8:02 AM |
One more reason for Abortion. The truth hurts.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 6, 2022 8:40 AM |
I saw him and thought, "He's expressing his inner Harry."
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 6, 2022 8:44 AM |
Poor kids. I watched Princess Charlotte's expressions while she was on the balcony, and she didn't seem impressed. They should have left the little one at home, he's way too young for all the pomp and circumstance.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 6, 2022 8:56 AM |
Harry and Meghan sure toed the line. Not a damn peep outta them. Good.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 6, 2022 8:58 AM |
[quote]but some if us understood decorum at that age.
I'm sure 4-year-old Louis knows the difference between "of" and "if" though.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 6, 2022 9:03 AM |
I don’t think it’s cute. I didn’t think it was cute when Harry or Andrew Giuliani did it, either.
My favorite bratty behavior was Alex Acosta’s daughter and her silent protest. Look at that caneface.

If this was Archie, Piers M would be in front of Frogmore Cottage with a pitchfork.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 6, 2022 9:47 AM |
R33 She looks like Mischa Barton’s character in the 6th sense. They are doing something to her.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 6, 2022 9:47 AM |
(Speaking)
I know it isn't gossip, or rumor, of course
For I've had it from quite a reliable source
And I'd like to
Pass it on to you:
(Singing)
The prince in the palace is a poofter
A princess in lipstick and curls
The cow called Camilla
Ordered a double tequila
I think he's just one of the girls!"
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 8, 2022 2:10 PM |
Charlotte, I really feel for you. Not an ounce of talent around you that rivals your own. Sadly, I don't think your great-grandmother has another 15 years in her, so you can consolidate the power you need to eliminate your succession obstacles. I wish you luck - you may be Britain's last hope.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 8, 2022 2:16 PM |
Till the day she died my older sister never stopped trying to boss me. One her deathbed, which I was summarily summoned to, she adjusted my shirt collar with that face, that same face Charlotte has.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 8, 2022 2:20 PM |
Spin, spin, spin.

Why do they all wear an entire goddamn hardware store of medals and ribbons at these public appearances?
Every one of those baubles was given to them by their own mother/cousin/grandmother. Not one of these grifters has ever legitimately earned so much as a pizza coupon, let alone the rank of admiral or enough medals to make Idi Amin blush.
Don't they realize this only adds to their image as pathetic, self-serving, and worthless human beings? They evidently derive actual pride from the many internal honors - which are not readily available to actual achievers - bestowed upon them by Granny simply because they fell out of the right crotch.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 8, 2022 2:28 PM |
I realize the boy is four years old. There is a reason you don't bring four year olds to functions.
Still, I'm trying to think what my mother would do, if I thumbed my nose at her at that age. I don't know if I knew what thumbing your nose meant at four years of age. I might have been hauled out and read the Riot Act, that is, led outside and told either behave myself or we are going home.
You could see Catherine scolding him, but the tv cameras on them constrained what she could do. If she led him out, then returned without him, she would have faced criticism that she handed him off to his Nanny. She could not have appeared really angry or a groundswell of tsk tsks would have resulted.
The grandfather stepping in helped to diffuse the situation.

In one's own day, Nanny Peebles would take a hot iron to the soles of one's bare feet if one acted afool at Trooping the Colour.
One misses the days when a royal's public visage was stern and austere, inhuman and clearly presented by the victim of some unspecified trauma in one of one's large palaces.

r43 I hope this squirmer of a 4yo never learns the reverse of the "V for Victory" hand sign.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 8, 2022 4:36 PM |
Right, R45? This got me thinking, BronzeAgeGay. Where did Louis pick this up? At 4 years of age, your contacts are limited. I bet he learned it from big brother George, who picked it up at school.
I remember learning all sorts of insults from my older brothers, when younger.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | June 8, 2022 4:51 PM |
R45 R46 His great-grandmother learned the Nazi salute when she was his age. There's film footage of her and Margaret doing a cute little goose-step in the garden.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 8, 2022 6:54 PM |
R43, I was (am) terrified of my stern mother, but she would never lose her temper in public. So it's a double edged sword. I think Kate handled it very gracefully. And don't forget how much pressure she is under for being "middle class".
by Anonymous | reply 48 | June 8, 2022 7:27 PM |
Good points, R48. I know hat you mean by the critiques of her as "middle class." But I saw other clips of William and Kate interacting with their kids, and they appeared very "middle class," i.e. everyday parents with their kids. It was very sweet. Perhaps they could not have brought their one and three year old to the parade, but if Harry and Meghan had gone to the parade on Sunday, we would have seen them interacting with his nephews, niece, and young cousins like photos of them showed them doing at the Trooping the Color. It would have garnered goodwill for them -- the fun aunt and uncle. Missed opportunity.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | June 11, 2022 1:33 AM |
My guess is he learned this all from mom. I bet she's a screamer behind the scenes, and rakes the Royals over the coals regularly- including impersonations.
