I prefer Madonna without makeup looking drawn and haggard. Madonna put in years of grueling work outs and it showed in her veiny arms and drawn face. But until recently, she could slap some makeup on and was still pretty gorgeous. Sadly she’s had all that character pulled too taut recently.

Belinda looks good IMO. The aging really shows in her neck, but for a SoCal girl who smoked, drugged, and boozed for decades, she could be a lot worse off. It's obvious she's had work done, but it's not been extensive. She seems hippie-ish and into "natural aging." Madonna looks utterly alien. It's disturbing. By some strange stroke of fate, Courtney Love (who also smoked and used for decades, and has had about 40 different iterations of a face over the years) looks better than both of them.

R30 fair enough, I don't actually know when that photo was taken, but I assume it's from within the last 5 years or so. Her recent Instagram posts show that she looks fabulous though.

Don't do those granny hairstyles and whoever it was saying chin length bob--no way. That would have worked on a younger Belinda but not now.

Her makeup is so awful it's hard for me to tell what she actually looks like. I do think post-60 it's a good idea to stop trying to look "hot." Neat and presentable is fine.

Belinda has had a shit ton of plastic surgery. She's eased up on it some in recent years though. She probably would've looked better now if she didn't have as much done in the past.

Madonna has had far too much plastic surgery, but she doesn't look as bad as those filtered to death photos like at R38 make her look to be. She has been photographed in public at the lips and other features aren't as distorted. She has the dreaded puffy filler face though.

But look like crap compared to Susanna Hoffs though. She looks great and was careful with the surgeries. She seems happy and content in life also.

For all that, I respect someone more the less they try to remake their face with plastic surgery and injections and the like. Fixing some obvious flaw (like a birthmark or a scar) that weighs a lifetime on your self-image, to or some modest attempt to put things somewhat back into place is fine, but advanced engineering schemes and more trips to the plastic surgen than I make in a year to my physician tends to show in bad ways, so good for her.

She did drugs until her late 40’s - of course she is going to have some wear and tear.

That said, I’ve noticed she doesn’t know how to do her eye makeup well. It looks terrible and smudged and it definitely ages her.

I think the lips are a combo of way too much filler and bad makeup/to much lip liner. If she’d tone the filler down by 50% and just use one subdued lipstick color, the lips would look good. The eyebrows are a disaster.

As some cosmetic surgeons have shown (e.g. Dr Jacono, look him up on IG), you can get really good drastic plastic surgery (facelift). You just need to go to the right surgeon.
