Very goodlooking or rich Black men marry pretty white, Asian and Hispanic women. Though many usually marry light-skinnned Black or biracial women.

Lower-class hood Black men will marry ugly and fat white or Hispanic women. These types always bash Black women and also the same types that hate on Meghan Markle and Serena Williams.

Ugly white men are obsessed with Asian women based on misogynistic stereotypes and often paired with golddigging Asian women who are considered ugly by other Asians. I have to disagree. Ugly, but successful and rich, white men are like catnip to Asian women. Plenty of reasonably attractive and fashionable Asian women are married to white men. As a matter of fact, I think most Asian women prefer to marry white men over Asian men. Studies show that Asian women have the highest precentage of out of race marriages than any other group. I’m also noticing a huge uptick of Asian women married to Jewish men. They produce entitled, assholish kids, but they are accomplished, good looking and most of all, well-connected. I don’t see any identity problems, they straddle both races with aplomb if the parents remain married.

As for Indian women, a huge percentage are marrying white men (no surprise, as many Indian men go straight to white women the minute they get succesful). Muslim women will marry whites but usually get them to nominally convert (or face a huge backlash from family).

Black or African-American is foremost a cultural ethnic identity in America not a race and can also include subcultures like Creole, Gullah Geechee and black Seminole. Before Emancipation, mixed people were called mulattoes or yellow and they were categorized as separate from black or negro. Most free people were mixed race but had white mothers or were freed by their masters. Mulattoes were also slaves too because slave status passed from mother to child. Since many mixed race people who had black relatives would use their wealth and social status to help protect civil rights and enrich the black population. But they were still the upper class who managed the churches, universities, barbershops, banks and other ventures. A mixed race person who is raised by their white parent and in a white area would more likely identify as biracial. While a mixed race person raised by a black parent and in a predominantly black area would likely identify as just Black. Historically mixed people were raised by black mothers before the Civil Rights movement. Many of those children did not know their white fathers or relatives. Those circumstances were not always consensual. After interracial marriages became less taboo in the 1970s. There's been a rise of mixed people born from black fathers and white mothers and the term biracial became more and more popular as the white mothers wanted their children to have a better status than just black. These children know their white relatives and exposed to white culture. They aren't just black.

Culturally, some black people have a different concept of what is an acceptable body type. Which means people with a little extra get the kind of attention from black people that they're not going to get from white people. Here is a personal story. Several years ago I wanted to get a swimmer's body. I dieted and exercised and got pretty skinny and toned. I would go home and visit my family and they would think I was way too skinny. My Grammy thought I was sick. Family didn't like it at all. Eventually a put some of the weight back on, because there was no way I could maintain that kind of diet and exercise routine and live a normal life. Once I got back up to 185, family was fine.

I can't speak for Latinos, but I think they also like a little extra on their people.

Almost all of them acknowledge they have privilege over the average African-American due to their white parentage and lighter appearance. Many immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean don't do that one-drop rule thing and refuse to acknowledge mixed people like them as black.

I know many biracial people and there's plenty of them who identify as biracial now. Halle and Obama are older and grew up in different circumstances where there was a more binary view of race and no such thing as being "mixed." A lot of younger biracial people don't have any need to align themselves as just one race when they aren't that. Just because racist white people refuse to acknowledge the other side doesn't mean they don't have to.

I have some half black family members who grew up all around white family and in largely white neighborhoods but they identify as black. They looked more black than white and I think they always felt out of place around their white family and were treated differently by people around them.

You identify based on how the world sees you. As someone with quite a few biracial family members, they fall into 3 camps. They present as white, black or some kind of mixture that reads as Hispanic. The person above is correct, Obama probably is culturally white, but the world sees him as black, so he's black.

Again, talking about Diana Ross I have watched a clip about her family on Youtube. One of her five kids has black father, the other four have white father. For some this is the reason. For most, it's the view that White men have less sex appeal/swagger than Black men and are "corny." It's a vibe thing.

There's nothing attractive about having no rhythm or "stiff" rhythm (it's hard to explain). Sensuality and a disposition of self-confidence is something that, for whatever reason, seems to evade most White guys and it's a turn off for women of all races. Black men and Latino men, however, hold it in spades.
