Is there a receipt for the hookers?

by Anonymousreply 1May 23, 2022 4:29 PM

A $30 charge for “unmet minimum”?

by Anonymousreply 2May 23, 2022 4:31 PM

Was this posted by some snotty rich kid on Instagram, or was this some type of big event? I seriously think that people who post these things online are fakers who work in bars and run up a huge fake tab to impress the internet, but then just go back and delete it all because it’s not real.

by Anonymousreply 3May 23, 2022 4:31 PM

It's fake, although I like the $24,000 Service charge.

by Anonymousreply 4May 23, 2022 4:32 PM

It was posted by @VitalVegas and related to the EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) held this weekend, so it’s most likely real.

$75 for a Red Bull! That's nearly a 4000% mark-up. Fools and their money... I wonder what the mark-ups on the alcohol are like.

by Anonymousreply 6May 23, 2022 5:43 PM

Fools if that's real.

by Anonymousreply 7May 23, 2022 5:45 PM

There's a wine called Ace of Spades?

by Anonymousreply 8May 23, 2022 5:46 PM

$75 for a BUCKET

there are probably like 12 in a bucket

Still s huge markup but not that huge

by Anonymousreply 9May 23, 2022 5:46 PM

Who knows how many people this was intended to cover.

I've pissed away $300 in an evening on normal drinks at a regular NYC bar without even trying. At the ridiculously inflated prices being charged, a party with 120 people spending $1000 each is not as outlandish as one might think it is.

by Anonymousreply 11May 23, 2022 5:56 PM

Look carefully, r9. The receipt says Red Bull bucket (16 @ $75) for $1,200 total.

R11 the receipt says part of 20.

What’s the problem? If it’s real, and if they paid, good for them.

by Anonymousreply 14May 23, 2022 6:46 PM

Can someone explain Red Bull to me? I think I tried it once years ago and it tasted like bubble gum.

by Anonymousreply 15May 23, 2022 6:47 PM

Congrats to the state on that sales tax haul!

People are so gullible
