If you had to smell like one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? And why?

I'd pick applesauce.

Why: (1) I love the smell; and (2) people might say stuff like “here comes Applesauce” which I’d like.

by Anonymousreply 18May 19, 2022 1:49 AM

In baking, there’s a trick of mixing lemon zest in with sugar to amp up the lemon scent. You rub it together with you fingers and after a minute or so the sugary lemon smell bursts through. That!

by Anonymousreply 19May 19, 2022 1:49 AM

Odd one - but maybe dill

by Anonymousreply 20May 19, 2022 1:50 AM

Cookies.

Yes cue the jokes from the peanut gallery, but after High School I work part-time at a cookie shop. Think Mrs Fields but with a lot more variety. We made sugar cookies, shortbread, oatmeal bars and had coffee and cappuccino.

But anyway when I go to the bank to cash my check the bank tellers both male and female always complimented me on how I smelled really nice: like sugar.

r11 those two were the first I thought of as well: lavender and vanilla, in that order.

But my final answer is ripe peaches or ripe strawberries.
