and these are the people who want a bailout on student loans?

I don’t understand why?
I know they had a course on Lil’ Kim somewhere once but it made sense because she was pretty influential, even in pop music.
But I don’t understand Cardi B at all.

The girls better get their WAPs primed

Almost certainly it's being offered by an assistant professor trying to get noticed. The topic isn't stupid but devoting an entire semester to it is.

I was wrong-- it's not an assistant professor but a perpetual adjunct. I always found men teaching women's studies courses insufferable and/or opportunists.

Another reason why older educated people either laugh at or shake their head at the state of current college education.

r6 if it's a perpetual adjunct, I suspect they might be trying to get bodies in seats so the course will carry and they'll have an income.

Cardi B peaked. She was a fad and ran her course. They'll find another cute Island girl with little talent. Music industry loves that. See: J Lo, Rihanna, Nicki, Camila etc.

Will they teach them how to drug and rob your clients together with your pimp?

Still more legit than a degree from Liberty U.

That college is now a joke.

I’m not a fan but there are worse people. Like those skanky kardasians

OP, fuck this.

Well, it’s under ‘African American Studies’…
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 21, 2022 12:03 AM |
She's not African-American. African-American is a specific ethnic group that describes people from descend from slaves brought to North America between 1609 to 1865. We have a distinctive culture that borrows from both West Africa and White Southern culture. It's offensive to call every Black person or in Cardi's case, someone who is mixed with African descent an "African-American." Rihanna isn't African-American and neither is Rosario Dawson or Zoe Saldana. Bob Marley wasn't. Neither is Idris Elba or Naomi Campbell. I can't believe a university would be that ignorant.

What are we, R16, chopped liver? Climb down, your soap box has a soggy lid.

r16 I guess they don't have 'Black Studies' so shove that class into the closest thing? The title is also "... : Intersectionality of Race, ...",

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
