Wonderhussy, she is a cool hippy type chick that explores abandoned places and hot springs, mostly around the desert Southwest.

Guitar backing tracks. I practice by playing along with them. Very helpful and fun as well versus just running through chords, scales, and techniques in a vacuum.
Also reviews and commentaries on various skin care products.

Very fucking little.
The occasional "how to deactivate the chime in my XYZ microwave," and the very rare film or made for YouTube production not found elsewhere.
It's not a favorite format for me, especially with HR departments having adopted the format to outsource and stretch out painfully obvious information that could be expressed in 3 short bullet points instead of a 7-minute "webinar."

Reading R19 reminds me that I've been looking at a number of audiophile YTs lately. I bought a new pair of speakers (the latest Paradigm Atom) a couple of weeks ago, and YT reviews helped me choose between those and something from Bowers & Wilkins.
One unboxing video left me feeling irked, however. A stereo dealer in New Zealand threw the box and everything in it away from him with such force, it made me think he didn't like the packing materials—and by extension, the speakers—very much.

R15 I don’t like anything too intellectually stimulating before bed so videos like this is just perfect for winding down the day.

PaperBird book reviews.
He takes an David Lynchian approach to reviewing - surrealism mixed in with pop culture. You don't see the reviewer, besides his hands.

Currently I'm watching the Scandinavian miniseries Øyevitne, which was the basic for the USA Network's miniseries Eyewitness (pictured below).
I like the American adaptation more, but this isn't bad.
Both are WAY better than the Romanian version I saw about a year ago on HBO On Demand.
Recently on Youtube I came across an old Mario Bava film in Italian with English subtitles, which was great to see.
Occasionally I like to watch an episode of MST3K - just for the fun of it.

I enjoy watching as tornadoes and floods destroy cities and towns, for some morbid reason. I like extreme weather videos in general.

I watch this one channel about a Chinese woman who lives in a rural area with her grandma and prepares meals from scratch for them with stuff from their farm. Her videos are beautiful and I have no idea why, but I find them deeply relaxing.

Useless Farm has a hilarious TikTok account, too, for those of you on that platform. Karen is batshit. The alpaca has never had a thought in its life.

I love the Firebox Stove guy who hikes with his two goats and two dogs and cooks outside when he camps and fresh water fishes. His invention is cool too, we have one of the pans.
Coyote Works - Casey from central / Southern OR who overlands, and camps outside in his jeep or sometimes a truck - he knows a lot about OR history and homesteads. Good camping/ overland advice minus his love for guns

I generally watch travel videos like J Utah and others walking around with cameras but my new obsession is girl living off-grid. This woman builds her on houses out of bamboo and she builds all kinds of things, like ovens and water wells.

Old movies that haven't been available on home video in years, videos about mental disorders, interviews with artists, old Broadway clips, and some old TV commercials and specials that are hard to find. YouTube really is a treasure trove if you know what to look for.

I watch a lot of stuff on YouTube appart from music videos. Contemporary art talks and interviews (like the Louisiana Museum, in Denmark, channel); physics and astronomy documentaries; gardening and plant propagation videos; positive affirmations and guided meditations to sleep; and also lots of cooking channels, one of my favorites being "Tasting History with Max Miller".

Older jazz performances are really the only music videos I watch I mostly watch history (I'm a WWII buff.) Politics. A lot of the older interviewers, especially Dick Cavett.
