Anyone Else Enjoy Any Of The Chateau YouTube Channels?
There's a big selection of YT channels run by Brits who've moved to France and bought up old crumbling chateaus and have renovated them. My favorite is "The Pethericks". Billy Peterick moved to France, where his parents already lived about 10 years ago, met his future French wife Gwendoline who is an heir to a major fortune. When her parents died she inherited a ton of money and they bought Chateaux de la Basmaignee, near Ernee. Eventually Billy's whole family moved onto the property and have helped in the renovation. Billy's older brother (who looks like his younger brother) lives in the old gardener's cottage that he is renovating and done a beautiful job of it. He has his own YT channel that is so popular it got a hundred thousand subscribers the fist 30 days. He's also gay and adorable. Billy's best friend is Ryan who has his own channel as well. He's adorable too. He and Billy are hilarious together.

And here's Billy's BFF channel "Life Of Ryan". Ryan is goofy and adorable and his accent is so thick you could cut it with a knife. He's British but grew up in France.

And before anyone chimes in with Billy's "history", yes I know all the scuttlebutt about his reason for going to France. Billy was once one of The Queen's Guards. But after his sister died one of his superiors decided to attempt to drive him nuts by bullying him and other things. Billy finally had enough and went AWOL and fled to France. 10 years later the British army got wind of his whereabouts due to him and Gwen being on some Chateaux show on TV. Eventually Billy went back to England to face up to the charges. The judge said "clearly you want nothing to do with the British Army, and the British Army wants nothing to do with you, so it's best you both go your separate ways". Billy went back home to France and bid the UK goodbye.
