I had the theory that she had a drug problem, but I've changed it to: Naomi never sang on any Judd albums. It was Winonna backing herself, or someone else. Maybe they let Naomi think she was really singing for a while, but she found out and couldn't handle taking credit for something she didn't do. So the awards comes and BOOM.

I’m currently reading Naomi’s book, River of Time. She was addicted to Klonopin, a tranquiler, the same drug Stevie Nicks did for several years.

Initially, I thought she would have shot herself in the chest. In the book, though, she said that husband Larry caught her in the bathroom holding a gun to her head. He took the gun from her.

She did ECT to try to help her depression / suicidal feelings, but stopped the ECT, electric shock treatment.

R19 = Klonopin is an amazing medication. It used to help me and my panic attacks. They stopped prescribing it to me over a year ago and now I barely leave the house and have panic attacks regularly. People like Dead Naomi ruined it. I was certainly never "addicted" to it. Good Riddance Naomi.

We don't know, r17. It's speculated she didn't shoot herself in the head because Wynnona said she kissed her mother goodbye.

Yes R [20], I know exactly what you mean. For some reason I started to suffer panic attacks a few years ago, and Klonopin was a life saver. Panic attacks are no joke, its horrible when they happen. I wish you well.

Naomi Judd, was a shit person. She lied ALOT, and ruined her 1st Husband with her lies. I hate to say that about a person who took their own life, but its true.

According to Naomi's book (River of Time), she and Wy were estranged. (The book spans several years and NJ only ever talks about interacting w/Ashley, not Wy.) Wy can say whatever she wants, kissed her on the forehead, whatever, but the book says that N held a gun to her own head (in the bathroom when Larry busted her and took the gun away).

Naomi said that Ashley's "boundary" was to not be in the middle of Naomi's & Wy's relationship.

Wynonna said her eyebrows were perfect. Maybe she is just trying not to let fans know just how brutal it was.

Man, this sucks. I got to talk to her a few times when I was in country radio. She was super nice, sharp as a tack, and very generous with her time.

One time, she'd called in to talk about their upcoming reunion show. The tickets were (for then) expensive, and already sold out. She started taking calls from listeners who wanted to go, and told every one "you just hang on the line honey, we'll get you tickets."

We were like "wait, we don't have any tickets to give away." She said something to the effect of "don't you worry, it's my show, and I'm gonna take care of my fans." Sure enough, after the interview she stayed on the line and hooked up every listener who got through with a pair of tickets. She gave away thousands of dollars worth, and she didn't hand it off to an assistant. She took down all their information herself, and thanked every one for being a fan.

RIP.
