She's most likely a moderate type. She doesn't strike me as that political. Most people are moderate, apolitical and not on the extreme end. The DL crazies love to paint the Democratic Party as far-left but they aren't. Most Americans support the right to abortion, gun laws (not banning), acceptance of LGBT, free college and affordable healthcare. The right-wing nuts are the ones who paint the Democratic as "socialism." Republicans only win because they pander to a base that has a higher voter turn-out (the elderly, pro-business rich and Evangelicals). That's why we need to make voting days a national holiday and make mall-in ballots easier. Also get rid of the electoral college. Voter suppression is a serious issue.

And yes, a white person from Alabama or Mississippi (wherever the fuck she's from) can be Democrat. Younger Southerners are completely different from the Boomer Southerners.
