Mine are No One Would Tell, She Cried No (aka Freshman Fall)/and the the one with Tori Spelling as a call-girl.
It’s not necessarily my favorite, but the title “Mother May I Sleep With Danger” was definitely tops.
Plus Ivan Sergei was at his hottest.
OP the Tori movie is Co-Ed Call Girl and her mom’s bakery was called The Back Door Bakery. I always cackled at that.

J. Lifetime movies and Hallmark movies are nothing alike. Why do you keep putting them in the same category?

Women's movies, R5.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 14, 2022 11:34 PM |
R6 very different. Lifetime is lame thrillers and crime and very liberal. Hallmark is the opposite.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 14, 2022 11:36 PM |
That may be so but their target audience is women.

I love the one where the widow marries a man who turns out to be a serial killer living under an assumed identity. Also, the one with the big-city businesswoman who returns to her tiny hometown for a simpler life running the family candy shop and ends up in a Christmas romance with the recently widowed high-school quarterback who never knew she existed.
Oh, and that one with the mousy new girl who's befriended by the most popular cheerleader in school, who also happens to be a scout for a trafficking ring.
Does anyone remember the names of those three?

Lifetime movies are better than Hallmark because they deal with gritty real-life topics like "Does your husband secretly have a sex murder dungeon?" and "Are the kids buying drugs on the computer?"

Please post YouTube links to full movies you recommend! No to trailers!

I don't want to watch "To Have and to Murder"... even if it does have Annie Potts.
And why is Treat Williams looking at her like that?
You stay away from Annie Potts, Treat Williams!

Nothing is better for relentless cringe than the Lifetime biopic A TALE OF TWO COREYS.
Even better, the minute-by-minute roast rundown that the Bonfire podcast did for it. Never laughed so hard in my life.

I like the Lifetime movies that were supposed to be educational, like "Fifteen and Pregnant" (with Kirsten Dunst) or "Change of Heart." In that one, Jean Smart catches her husband in a gay affair and they shoehorn stats about gay spouses in straight marriages into the dialogue.

Ahahaha R9, I was just coming here to say something similar.
Aren't the majority of them about some college girl being raped by the fraternity and no one believes her but then she fights back and wins?

I was at my parents house waiting on dinner. Some movie, I think it was Hallmark because it was bloody awful. But I have no idea what it was, so I'll describe it and hopefully somebody will recognize it. I'm going to jump into the plot being advanced.
A female department manager in Corporate America has to take time off to fly to see a member of her family, maybe her mother, because a bad guy is on to something about her mother or knows where her mother lives. After she's arranged the time off, a nosy office frau asks her if she's OK and she says yeah. The nosy frau asks her why she's taking time off. The department manager shrugs and just says, "Personal."
Then there's a race against time to beat the bad guy...
Then I guess dinner was ready. Have I described every Hallmark non-Christmas movie?

A Woman Scorned: the Betty Broderick Story.
That poor, sweet, beautiful and supportive woman suffered so much, and it was incredibly satisfying to see the evil Dan and his concubine Linda get what they had coming.

She’s Too Young with Marcia Gay Hardon which is about a group of teenage harlots who all get syphilis.

Sorry there isn’t the full movie on YouTube. Teenager becomes addicted to internet porn. Kelly Lynch plays his horsey mom.

R19 There are no bad guys in Hallmark movies.
Psycho Granny is a Lifetime movie and it's a hoot. Also any thriller written and directed by Jake Helgren who's gay and hot (Killer Dream Home etc).
