Has anyone read the production assistant Kerry Bailey's diary on his time working on this movie? It's pretty dishy and snarky.

Can you give is a hint, OP? Can you give us an excerpt?
The movie had its good points but Lori Petty was just too grating and loud in it.

No, but that movie is damn near unwatchable.
Didn't it end Lori Petty's career?

OP, we need excerpts or a link.
r2 Not entirely. The film gave her greater recognition than A League of Their Own. . . but she couldn't ride cult status onto other projects because she was a bit too old when Tank Girl came along - she aged pretty quickly after. . . didn't head for a touch up until a decade or so later.
Hollywood wasn't her first choice, so a lot of her career seems more like opportunities fell in her lap than she actively pursued them. She wanted to be everything, so tried a hand at everything. . . but more DIY style on her terms, which put her on par with a freshman undergrad film major despite having experience in the biz. While socially, she didn't seem to know how to set boundaries or distance herself... she seemed very insecure in the late 90s and desperately trying to make herself into what you see is what you get than having to explain anything about herself or her life. She did pick up smalelr roles... a few tv series where it was supposed to expand but the series would get cancelled. So, yeah, she got labeled with the flop curse pretty quickly.

I never saw this movie, but I had a copy of its soundtrack, which is great.

Not a fan of Tank Girl. I do like Jamie Hewlett’s work on Gorillaz.
