He got TikTok famous during the pandemic when he was in an annoyingly public relationship with professional dancer Ian Paget. You knew it was doomed because every fucking thing was documented plus they never missed a “TikTok trend”, which during the pandemic was basically a new thing every other day. They got very tedious very quickly but all the fraus and teen girls who seem obsessed with their type of bland, non-threatening, not too sexual gay coupling were all about their shit. It was kind of embarrassing yet fascinating to see their popularity explode.

They blamed the “pressure” of being “shipped” as the perfect relationship for their breakup, seemingly oblivious to the irony that they created the entire situation in the first place. Everything about Chris and Ian became quite nauseating so their breakup was inevitable.

Chris was very candid about his past and addiction issues and stuff which I think a lot of people felt for him over. Even that though turned into the kind of performative “crying on camera for likes” crap that people who enjoy misery porn lapped up.

He’s also a diversity hire dream as he ticks multiple boxes while still being attractive enough to look at without puking.
