‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ star Kailia Posey dead at 16

OMG, I never watched ONE episode of that mess, never watched a full episode of Honey BooBoo, but I remember that little girl from TV because she was so creepy, looked and acted like a little robot, (due to her momma making her compete in child beauty pageants.)

Anyway, horribly sad. She had a nice pose but couldn't live forever.

She died of suicide, dead in her car at a park. Check out this video, it gives a hint to being raised by a batshit crazy mom.

The "stretching" the mother talks about could have seriously injured her spine or joints at a young age. I wonder if the girl was in constant pain.

Also, the death is being investigated by the state.

With Jonbennet and now this, hopefully parents will learn.

In the clip at r5, the mom says Kailia is 10.

If the clip was shot during the last season, that would mean Kailia was born in 2003/2004 at the latest (and would make her 18/19 in 2022).

What am I missing?

The mom was lying about her age, probably both then and now, r9. The episode in r5 is from 2012, apparently. I also noticed the mom was mentioning yesterday that Kailia was due to graduate high school soon, so she was probably 18 years old and not 16 when she died, making her 8 in the video and not 10.

Was there a minimum age requirement for the show, maybe, and she fudged the age to get past it?

I wonder if the mother still thinks that the "stretching" she began to put her daughter through as a toddler still paid off? Or is she resentful thinking of all that wasted time stretching a toddler, now that being a weirdly flexible woman will not pay off in the way she assumed. What benefit might all the stretching would give her daughter and why she was determined to start it when the child was a baby?

The stretching in the video at R5 is close to obscene. It's not normal to do that to a child. She was still a contortionist s a teen. Could have been seen as freaky by her classmates. I wonder if she had been sexually assaulted as a child. Seeing a child's legs spread like that is really creepy.

These baby "beauty pageants" are not the healthiest things. Toddlers heavily made up with hairdos like adults...sexualized for the pedos. I always questioned the mothers who push this. Sad about this young lady...

This was the toddler to end all toddlers Miss Mackenzie Myers who was as wound up as her mom Juana seemed stoned.

The kid was a hyper pain in the ass but naturally funny...and actually gracious when she lost to others and congratulated the winners.

The motivation for that freaky "stretching" is that she probably wanted the kid to get into dance or gymnastics. But got sidetracked into those scam pageants that are just a way for the promoters to suck money out of the parents' pockets.

Shit, the mother is crazy! I don't know if she was on stimulants when the film was taken or is just naturally crazy, but you can see that she's crazy and that all the crazy is focused right on her kids. Oh, that poor girl.

I have never seen a single episode and I knew nothing about these people before I watched the clip @R5. In 1:30, I saw a girl who's been put through hell by a mother who wouldn't let her be a normal child. That "one impetuous moment" happened due to years of insanity from that woman.
