I think he is funny but I know he is very unpopular in the industry.

Why do people have such disdain for him again? Twitter gays can't stand him either. He's not too political as well.

He was fine as a TV comedic actor.

But he's shouty and faux happy as a talk show host, and almost all of his film roles have been lessons in horror.

He senses that foreigners will be personas non grata after the conservatives take power, because it will be all about patriotism then.

He was just shoehorned into too much and became over-exposed. People seemed fine with him until he started getting cast in every damn thing.

r17 Yes. Back before he moved to the States there was a thing about him in Popbitch saying he was on some site trying to hook up and was of the "use me however you want, no reciprocation needed" type

He was supposed to Star in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM on Broadway when CBS offered him the LLS. I was bummed he took it. I thought wow, he’s walking away from a serious acting career for talk show money. Somehow, he still did a lot of movies though.

His show is unwatchable. And his guest interview skills make Jimmy Fallon look like Edward R Murrow.

He cried and doesn't seem to have a plan for what he's doing next, which means he was fired/show was cancelled. They gave him a lot of advance notice though! I wonder why he decided to announce it so early - guessing it must have leaked, or they were worried about leaks.
