A colleague of mine was a grad student in theatre at Hawaii when Engel was there. She said she was exactly the same then as she was when she was in MTM—ditzy, pleasant, somewhat religious.

I saw Georgia Engel in my Dr's office in NYC. I found it odd when she died that people said she was a Christian Scientist and didn't go to doctors because I had seen her a couple years prior in the doctor's office. Hmmm....
