Yes, their vocal activism wasn't so boisterous in the late Obama years, and even a bit of the Trump years... but we've ALWAYS been on their list.

That's right, they still have "TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE" in their sights to re-establish. They don't want us to have equal rights. They also don't want us to be able to marry, adopt, be around kids at all, or be "out" in any public sense (ie have a picture of your "gay" family in your work area)
In 2021 the Arizona GOP officially censured Cindy McCain, wife of late John McCain, for, among other things, "supporting radical leftest causes such as GAY MARRIAGE." -- Again, that was 2021.
Sure, the trans boogyman, sorry boogyperson.. is the crack in the door they're using but they've had us in their sights the whole time. Trans people being the focus DOES NOT CHANGE THIS. All the "laws" they're passing now don't just talk about banning "gender identity" stuff, they VERY MUCH also include banning "sexual orientation" stuff. And do you think they're going to ban books where a Man and a Woman duck raise some duck kids? I mean, that situation brings up sexual orientation, doesn't is? Of course it does - and of course they won't ban such books. But they Will ban a book where a Man and Man duck raise some duck kids FOR SURE. Do you think they're going to fire a teacher who mentions to students about going to the movies over the weekend with her husband? But they will fire a teacher who mentions about going to the movies with HIS husband. Because that's the whole purpose of their agenda. They think we're sub-human, and they're serious about it. So wake up. Jog that memory.
Of course they LOVE having all you anti-trans gays helping them jam open the door with anti-trans stuff - but the purpose of getting that door open IS TO GO AFTER US. AND YOU'RE HELPING. It's like Non-Whites who helped KKK types go after Blacks... Like, who do you think they'll go after once they've got some momentum.
