I’m so sorry for this diagnosis. My BFF lost his partner to a rare disease/doctors mishandling after 32 years together. He refuses grief counseling so he’s been drinking nightly and hitting the bars where he met a literal kid who is now using him for money , playing off his fragile emotional state. Please see a therapist as you’re going to be the caregiver as his health fails. Get yourself mentally prepared now to handle the immense loss of life you’ll experience. You can properly grieve him when you’re prepared. Then a 23 year old mentally ill violent hood rat won’t prey upon you and fleece you for money while simultaneously making veiled violent threats to scare you into staying.

Start looking for his replacement now. You aren't getting any younger.

Can I have the priceless watches that fall off his bony wrists?

This is so devastating as I have seen some fat guy dying from this disease before. Blood seeping from every orifice and unbearable pricking pain all over the body for 3 months before he died. Terrible!
