If this were anyone else, I'd say she made it up to shock Stern. But Molly Shannon has no reason to lie, and she's never been anything but honest with people, so it's probably true.

Gary Coleman could get someone way hotter than Molly Shannon. He was a mega star.

Any woman who goes into a man’s hotel room without expecting something to happen is just a wee bit foolish.

I watched this segment as well about her father who killed her mother, sister and cousin when he was driving while drunk. Molly was also in the car. The story takes a turn.

Molly has the most amazing spirit and seems to be one of those people who are genuinely good to the bone. I can't think of many celebrities like that. Her Fresh Air interview with Terry Gross was highly entertaining. She tells quite a few funny stories from her book.

The most expressive celebrity I've ever seen. She communicates with her hands and her face.

She’s just someone you instantly like, at least I do.

The Gary Coleman story was fiction. Most of the stories Conan's guests were made up. He wanted interesting funny stories.

I dropped Howard when I renewed my Sirius last week. The quality has gone down the shitter since COVID, and they lazily dropped the "news" segment. He won't miss my tiny bit of money.

God, her father most have been so tormented by what he did to his family and by not being his true self. Molly seems like a really genuine person.

Why on earth would she even want to go to Gary Coleman's hotel room, alone with him?

Unless of course you hated all your family members, how could you forgive an asshole who killed all of them whilst driving drunk?

They had a mutual agent, and the agent brought her there. She didn’t know she’d be left alone with Coleman.

I hope she 86ed that agent after that encounter.
