I’ve only seen one of the Madea movies in my life, Madea Goes to Jail. And it was spectacularly awful. Not so bad it’s good, but really bottom of the barrel. Bad acting, badly produced.
Who are these movies made for? I wouldn’t think that little old black church ladies would like some of the content about sexuality. And I wouldn’t think that younger black audiences would like them. And white people definitely wouldn’t like them.
