Her lead attorney, Kurt Nurmi, attempted to get rid of her as a client by quitting his job at the public defender's office. The judge said I'm appointing you to represent her (Arias) as a private attorney. So, Nurmi was still stuck with her.

Nurmi got really sick after the trial. IIRC, Jodi Arias began saying negative things about him. Nurmi then wrote a book "Driving Miss Arias," going beyond what he needed to say in order to defend himself against Arias' statements.

Nurmi got in trouble with the bar association for violating the attorney-client privilege (with his book). Nurmi said I don't care and resigned as an attorney (Arizona bar).

The woman attorney seems to be doing well, though. I never noticed she had a bald spot.

I think Nurmi probably went nuts when he got stuck with Arias. Who can blame him, really.

My impression of it (after all these years) is that Jodi really believed she was the smartest person in the room. I mentioned this before (somewhere), but I am actually curious what happens to an inmate such as Jodi who has breast implants. When it comes time, do they take her to a plastic surgeon to have them removed, or do they pay to have them replaced? Implants only last about 10 years, so something has to be done. My guess would be she'll be taken to a prison hospital and have them removed, not replaced. Doubt if taxpayers have to pay for an inmate to look like Dolly Parton.

Anyway, despite the prosecutor's "egregious" court behavior, she was denied her appeal a couple years ago:
