The first redhead I was in close enough to smell was a boy at ij my class in 1st grade. I could tell when he walked into the room, the funk he emitted was strong and unusual in an Australian summer. An overly sweet, musty smell, like overly vegetables, hay, skunks and yeah, milk.

It‘s not a bad smell per se, but it is distinct. The Albinos I have met smell like this in the extreme, so I imagine it is linked to the lack of melanin in their skin.
