John Pruitt/James Yount

John Pruitt was straight and like many "beefcake" models started out to earn money for a specific cause, in this case getting married. He worked for a while and did what he wanted to accomplish, but overall was very much a husband and father, that was world he largely vanished into.

Doug Perry/Darin Lannaghan is another one who "vanished". Again guys did what they had or wanted to do, then moved on.

He was my favorite Colt guy back in the day.

James Yount's son plays pro football. Pictures in R7 may have been taken at one such game or maybe practice.

As for being "homophobic", have never read nor heard anything leaning in that direction. Mr. Yount did become (IIRC) a born again Christian, and seems to have repented of his "wicked" past such as it was. What exactly that was varies by who is telling the story. Official line is the man did nothing but "beef cake" modeling and some yank videos.

Oh and since no one asked, other person in OP image is Colt model Paul Raymond "Buck" Hayes. Who if you believe Find A Grave died back in 1984.

R15, those dates make no sense. That’s not the Buck Hayes from Colt.

That Find-A-Grave information has been up for years, and no one from Hayes family has indicated it is an error or otherwise incorrect. Buck Hayes (aka Rex Morgan) had a sister (who only passed away in 2002), but more importantly a ton of nieces and nephews who are still living. If anyone in that family knows Find-A-Grave information is incorrect (how could they not?), they certainly haven't made any indication.

People have tried solving this mystery (is it or isn't Rex Morgan) buried in that plot, and no one can say for sure it isn't. There's very little information on internet or anywhere else it seems on what happened to Paul Raymond "Buck" Hayes after he left Colt or whatever. Cannot even find an obituary for the guy.

While not trying to throw shade, given time period, and Rex Morgan's activities (at least on film), there is possibility he died of the "madness" like so many others in 1980's. This could explain why there is virtually no information (again not even an obituary or published death notice.

IAFD profile on Rex Morgan states his birthplace was Canada. But Find A Grave says Lindon, Washington County, Colorado.
