I saw an interesting take by body language "experts" that suggested that Smith was fine until Jada said or did something.

While the three second video was unknown, there are videos of her reaction taken from different angles that suggest she was not happy immediately prior to his walking on stage.

That said, no matter what she said or did, HE is responsible for his actions.

It's no longer novel or rare for a black person to win an Academy Award. And, yet, many who receive them accept them as if they're the second coming of Rosa Parks and we're all supposed to well up with tears. Jesus, we've even had an African American president at this point. To some Black entertainers, I think it's about winning over a white or Asian nominee. That's an inconvenient truth, but a truth most people realize but are reluctant to admit; because they see it for themselves.
