What do you think of Michelle Pfeiffer's looks?

She's okay

Beautiful. I think the first time I saw her was in a TV showing of "Ladyhawke."

She was a truly beautiful woman back in the day. IMHO, she hit her peak with The Fabulous Baker Boys.

However, she's not aging well. All that plastic surgery is coming home to roost.

Of course, she looks like a runway model compared to Madge.

I’ve always found her magnetic far in excess of how she looks, which I find photogenic but bony. In the final analysis it’s inexplicable. I think it may be the quiet haughtiness and inscrutability. She doesn’t seem self-impressed or mean but she also seems like she’s never really going to let you in.

Even when young, she always looked like a very beautiful near-skeleton to me. So, beautiful.... but also kind of weird in the face. I get that she met all the criteria of being beautiful *on paper* but there was almost something unpleasant about her looks. Pinched. Like her skin was too tight across her face and all the bones were about to poke through. Plus that nose is just weird.

She also seemed to *hate* being the lead/regarded as 'beautiful' on film. You can tell she felt a lot of pressure and likely didn't believe it about herself, which must have been really uncomfortable. This joyless, mechanical quality did not enhance her looks, IMO.

Interestingly, I saw her in a film *years* later where she was playing an old, washed up Joni Mitchell wannabe. Just an old hippie who lives in Laurel Canyon. Relaxed. She was like the third lead in the film and was playing Chris Pine's mom lol. She was now old and not famous and allowed to play a complex woman instead of the icy babe.

She was radiant.

I saw her in a Starbucks a while back. Her head didn't look super huge to me. She was wearing a tracksuit type of outfit. These were around the Juicy Couture days, maybe. She had on a ball cap. I don't remember any logo on the cap. Slim. For some reason, I looked down at her feet and her feet were nice, clean-looking, with a light pink / or off-white nail polish. Her demeanor was low-key.

For a rando, she’s really pretty. I’ve never found her Hollywood beautiful, though. Kind of average.

I worked for playwright George Furth and he was in love with fellow "Christian Scientist,"actor Peter Horton who was engaged to Michelle after rescuing her from some kind of religious cult (possibly Scientology but I can't say for sure). George invited the two of them for dinner at his house. George was a binge, raging alcoholic at the time and let the two of them "HAVE It" by dinner's end. Michele and I are both from Orange County and swapped stories about hitchhiking Beach Blvd to Huntington Beach. Getting wasted and fucked at night under the pier. George was jaw-droppingly venomous that night but she stuck it out. George had written a flop/ musical theater showcase for LizaMinnelli called "The Act" There was some talk at the time of turning it into a TV event/special. Maybe Peter and Michele saw this dinner as a kind of audition for Michele and that's why they stuck it out.

I hate the fact that hairdressers seemed to not be able to do anything with her hair, so it always looks very 80s, for lack of a better term. I think she was beautiful in AGE OF INNOCENCE, but her hair was an abomination in the film.

Beautiful. I think she was at her most gorgeous in Ladyhawke, Tequila Sunrise, The Fabulous Baker Boys and Wolf.

She does do the ice queen thing well, as she did in both Scarface and Wolf, and she is a terrific villainess in Batman Returns and Stardust.

The most notable thing about Madonna was her little square face and relatively flat cheeks. Then she decided to become apple cheeked around 2008. It shouldn't have surprised me that eventually worked her away around to her butt cheeks.

Saw her in person circa the Hairspray movie. Very fragile looking, and if she gained maybe 5-7 pounds, she wouldn't look so drawn and bony. But she does have a great bone structure. A friend of mine told me back in the mid 90's that she had her nose, cheeks and chin done, and I have cause to believe him, because he told me about MJ being a pedo and BJenner wearing women's clothes in secret-I believed the Jenner rumor, but not the MJ rumor at the time.

Also a great proportion of models and actor/actresses have giant lollipop heads- it translates better when on screen or print. A theory that I like is that it mimics the proportions of a baby or young child, which we are subconsciously attracted to.

It’s interesting to watch her in Cherie. As I said upthread, I’m a big fan, but her line delivery in Cherie is just lame most of the time. She means to express how very languid and vastly familiar with, and wearied by, the life of a courtesan in the Belle Epoque her character is, but if she didn’t look like she does she’d never have gotten the part, playing it as she does. She’s in way over her head throughout most of it and then suddenly heartbreakingly perfect when she knows her affair with a beautiful, much younger manchild has to end.

And the sets and costumes are to die for.

I haven't seen Cherie but that's why I haven't check out her movie with Lucas Hedges after watching the trailer. Michelle is not an ideal fit for Fabulous Bitch roles. There's too much pain in her. She is neither a Mame nor a Vera.

High school photo. I'd say yes, she definitely had a nose job. What people also don't realize is that under-18 people get plastic surgery, too, like Bella Hadid. (Had nose job at 14.) By the time stars break onto the scene, they've already had their first nose job. So, even if you look at "old" photos on the internet, that's not the original nose.
