Chris Rock’s Tour sees a massive Surge after Will Smith assault

Looks like people wanna go and support Rock after what happened last night. His tour sold more tickets overnight than it did the entire month prior combined.

Chris Rock showed admirable restraint when faced with a Thug and deserves our care and attention.

Definitely admired how Chris Rock handled it last night. Hope he knows that

In my life I've had one person sucker punch me and I responded with more violence than I knew I was capable of. Chris Rock is a hero for not kicking Smith so fucking hard his entire family would feel the impact.

See, this stunt worked out for everyone--upped Rock, made the awards "relevant" and gave non-actor a new job on the talk show circuit.

Everyone wins and makes more money, except the public falling for this shit again and giving their time, money and energy to all these grifters.

Meh.

He's not funny like he used to be. And whut up with his face?

Since he cheated on his wife like an arrogant fool, and acted surprised when she left him, he's been off.

I've never seen "G.I. Jane," but only want to watch it if Viggo Mortenson shows dong.

[quote] See, this stunt worked out for everyone

I'm not saying you're wrong, but why do you sound so certain? Do you know something the rest of us don't?

by Anonymousreply 11March 29, 2022 2:45 AM

I've seen his standup. Never laughed so hard in my life. This was a while back. 2005 I think.

Hope he sells out the Garden.

Chris and Will made a good comedy duo around 25 years ago. Maybe they can do it again?
