I have Stated my Boundaries
I was more offended by that In Memoriam than the slap/punch!

Yes, another fuck-up of the In Memoriam section. Started off-kilter and then a rush to the screen so that we didn't get the first 2 0r 3 people being remembered, then to keep cutting to the chorus when we could hardly see the folks on the screen. The singing tributes at this section are welcomed BUT keep the camera on the screen showing the industry folks being remembered. Will they ever get it right?

Poor Olympia Dukakis.

Did they remember Jane Powell?

The upbeat singing and dancing was totally inappropriate.

That part was absolutely disgusting. The whole production was something even VMAs would find too crass.

It was a disgrace the way they dance blocking attention from the names. It looked like they were about to give someone to Kong

The dancing and singing right under the montage was distracting.

I barely caught Brenda Dickson's name.

It's ironic that it was a Gospel impaired segment to say goodbye to a lot of non-christians.
