Just to clarify one point: Chicago doesn't have *a* "Hyatt Regency." As the OP's article notes, the men were found "inside a Hyatt Regency hotel in the Chicago area." I used to visit Chicago frequently for business, and know firsthand that there are two Hyatt Regencys in Chicago proper – one inside the Loop, the other at its McCormick Place convention center – and at least four more out in the suburbs. That's also assuming it wasn't misreported: Hyatt has numerous subbrands, including Hyatt House and Hyatt Place, and adding those in there are at least 30 "Hyatts" in the Chicagoland area.

Breaking down the story a bit further:

(That would explain why both bodies were fully nonresponsive, though OTOH it's odd that they'd even bother attempting to resuscitate anyone clearly already dead and likely already at the point of rigor mortis.) The doctor told me I was lucky it was just G - when you take too much the body vomits it out. The NCAA awards individuals four years of eligibility and a five year period to use it in. It is not unusual for some athletes to play in grad school, especially foreign students. I think that even if they played in some sort of college league abroad it doesn't count against NCAA eligibility, unless it was professional. Plus, I believe they just gave most athletes an extra year of eligibility, last year, to make up for Covid.

If you were the father and all of a sudden you discovered that your son and your business partner/friend were lovers and drug abusers and that both are now dead. The audio is, of course, scratchy (just like on TV .. lol!) .. but the word "fire" is clear, but I think the dispatcher is telling the police unit that fire is also on their way, so she could be referring to the EMTs. ..
