It's weird I was just thinking a couple of days ago whatever happened to him. I'm from Boston and saw him when he was young, on a local late-night talk show - with another comedian - as a guest, not doing material - thought he was funny and good looking (almost). But then he got famous and - I don't know - annoying.

Don't know much about his stand-up histoty. But Rescue Me was a great show. Was he a creator/writer or just perfectly cast as the lead. Either way, it was good work. Sorry to hear he's a dick outside of that. Which may be why he really hasn't shown up much since then.

The film "The Ref" is very funny, but also due to Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis.

There used to be tons of gossip about him being a holy terror on Rescue Me, I want to say one item was that he pestered an actress who was guest starring so much that she quit before her arc was over. I'll try to find it but so far, no luck.

I liked Rescue Me. But I don't remember Leary every getting a laugh out of me. Reminds me of every annoying drunken loudmouth white dude from New Jersey who hangs out at a sports bar just like Michael Rapaport, so not funny at all. I think Christopher Titus is a much funnier and his show Titus is genius.

Steve Pasquale was wasted on Rescue Me, he deserved better. He spent too much time on that show and it slowed his career down.
