Her killer is still alive sadly,and lives in Bay Area . He works as chef and director of services at a very posh retirement community.

Great actor

Dominique reminds me of a young Demi Moore or Debra Winger. All three were dark-haired beauties of the early 1980s. It boggles the mind that her killer is out here living his life. Just goes to show that violence against women isn't always taken seriously in our court system - see the Brock Turner case.

The second injustice to Dominique Dunne came by Judge Burton S. Katz, who bent over backwards to disallow the killer to be tried for first degree murder and refused to allow testimony by his previous abused and terrorized girlfriend, or permit Dominique's family to testify in trial of his history of violent behavior against her. Katz was a seriously fucked up judge who had no business wearing a robe.

Just like Aaron Persky, the judge in Brock Turner's case. He reduced Turner's sentence from six years in state prison to six months in county jail for raping an intoxicated woman and then claimed Turner was a promising young man who shouldn't be punished too harshly. It's a travesty that these male judges sympathize more with violent male perpetrators than innocent female victims. Both Sweeney and Turner should be rotting in prison right now.
