Most likely, some of it is true and some of it is body dysmorphic (sp?) disorder. It's probably more difficult because you're gay, and you can't find someone desperate to have children. Can you meet someone on a dating site without pictures. Meet friends and see if it goes anywhere--but really try to have friends and somehow try not to see them all as potential boyfriends. If that doesn't work, become friends with women. Not for any romantic reason, but just to have real friends. Therapy might help, but I don't know if a good therapist would try to make you feel better about your looks or be honest if you really aren't attractive.

Back to your looks, because makeovers are interesting. Are you short and unattractive or tall and unattractive? Do you have bad teeth? Small eyes? What color are your eyes? Are you fat? Too skinny? We really want details.

Also, the poster who said ugly comes for all of us is correct. Father time wins. Some ugly people really do develop a goodness and a way to see people as more than what they look like.
