My dad just had a bowel resection surgery

Eventually he'll be able to eat again. Any tips from people who have been through this?

My grandma had it in her late 80s. She lived to be 99 and 11 months. She ate anything she wanted afterwards.

If he literally just had it today make she he is upright and walking around if possible so he doesn’t end up with pneumonia.

Good luck to your Dad.
